Melanie woke up in her dormitory. It had been one of those near-sleepless nights again. What she did last night...she was happy that she did it in a way, but very angry at herself. She litterally held hatred for herself for kissing Damon. Of course, though, she didn't regret it or wish it never happened. She had no regrets. Afraid to go to Severus's cla.ssroom, Melanie slung her bag over her shoulder and walked down to breakfast with Hermione, Harry, and Ron. The four of them were laughing and chatting about random things, and it made Melanie realize she had forgotten about her best friends-and brother-lately. She was sure it surprised Harry when she wrapped her arms around him, thanking him for nothing. The truth was that she just needed a hug.
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

Silvie pushed past him, "I owe Snape something." she replied expressionlessly. She pulled out a small vial and placed it on Snape's desk. "Its from when I was...absent." she reported her gaze fixated on the floor. Truth is, she wanted it to not be cancelled, so she could talk to Stefan about what she saw... "excuse me." she said in an un-silvie-like quiet whisper as she walked back out the door...not noticing that her pace quickened as she rounded a corner.

Stefan made his way down to breakfast, angry. Both at himself and Damon. Why didn't he see it- the connection he held with Melanie. It didn't matter now, they wold all pay for his actions. Stefan shrugged his way into the Great Hall, glancing at Melanie and sitting a while away. He did not want to speak to anyone right now.

Melanie noticed Stefan as soon as he came in. Just the person she needed. But, she knew he probably wouldn't talk to her anyway, which made her sigh. Ron noticed that Stefan was purposely avoiding the group. "Boyfriend toruble, Eh, Melanie?" Melanie rolled her eyes. "Shut the hell up, Ron."

Stefan saw Silvie come in, giving her a soft smile. He knew she knew, it showed. And he would be here to comfort her.

Silvie strode into the great hall, unusually alone. She felt the eyes of her clas.smates on her, for it was surprising for her to walk in without Draco or another friend by her side. She took a seat in a different location then usual, far away from where Draco usually sat. Draco waited in the common room for Silvie as he usually did, surprised she didnt show yet. He looked at the time and made his way to the great hall with Crabbe and Goyle, he spotted Silvie and rose an eyebrow. he went over to her..."Missed you in the common room..." he said, he looked at the location she sat at..."I think you missed your seat by a few meters." he tried to joke. Silvie didnt look up, she stayed silent in her seat. She couldnt find her words, when she found them she surprised herself with how bitter they came out..."I have nothing to do with you."

Draco flinched at Silvie's words..."W-What?" he choked, unable to process what she said. "Did I stutter?" Silvie stated in the same expressionless manner. Draco only nodded and slid down the bench, leaving an empty seat for Silvie in case she wanted to join. Silvie looked up, "Hello Stefan." she greeted in the same empty voice. "I am fine."

Melanie kept trying to catch Stefan's eye, trying to talk to him. "I need to talk to you," she mouthed to him slowly once she succeeded.

"No, are you okay?" Stefan asked again, sliding in across from her, his tone laced with underlying meaning. He looked back at Melanie, giving his head a slight shake.

Stefan slammed his hands onto the table, hard, his eyes intense as he looked at Silvie, ignoring the murmurs around him. "Damnit Silvie, show some emotion. I know you felt for him. I'm only trying to help you!"

Melanie growled and turned away quickly, biting her lip to hold in tears. She was angry-at herself, of course-, She was dissappointed, and if she ever regretted anything she would have. Nothing was going right and she could never even look at Severus again, much less Damon.

Silvie finally looked up at Stefan. "Emotions cause more pain." was all she said before she stood abruptly, starting to leave the hall. "And I think your girlfriend is trying to get your attention." and for a brief moment, a picture of a shattered heart lay in Silvie's eyes as she glanced at Melanie.

Melanie felt Silvie's eyes on hers, but didn't look back. She couldn't bring herself too. Silvie was a good friend and Melanie had let her down...she'd never forgive herself for that.

"I can't deal with this anymore." The sentence left Melanie's mouth, but it was not Melanie's usual voice. It was cold, dark, and angry. She was shaking with anger at herself by now. She stormed out of her seat and out into the hallway, not knowing where the hell she was going. And she didn't care. Nothing mattered anymore. Her whole life had fallen apart. She was disgusting. She was a fu*king tramp. She regretted kissing him.
