((Sightbump.)) "Leave Hogwarts." Melanie said it with no emotion. "I'd rather deal with my horrid family then have to look at Severus every day, knowing how much I've hurt him....I just can't take it."

Melanie let tears flow as she wrapped her arms around Damon, digging her face into his shoulder. She didn't say anything; she didn't know what to say.
