Silve took a deep breath... "It all began a while back, when we first met... I always had an interrest in you... and I had a feeling, one that I couldnt identify for a long time... when you flirted with those other girls... it built up until the kiss you had with Mel." she began, not meeting his gaze.  "I was so upset...god, I dont even remember, it was that time...Draco was angry with me for the secrets I hid from him... we were in the common room late that night, the fire was lit, and I pressed my forehead to his, trying to read his thoughts... he doing the same for me." she smiled a bit, "He was scared for me...worried I was getting into troubel.  But, I was not smart enough to realize the fact... then we both opened out eyes.  My green met his grey and it just happened... he leaned in but I stayed where I was, and his lips brushed mine ever so lightly.  I admit, I let them sit there for a split moment or so, but pulled away quickly... I was thinking of you as soon as his lips touched mine." the smile was faded from her face... her eyes empty.  "When we went our seperate ways, I knew I had to tell you... when I did, I knew it was a mistake.  I saw your reaction, and at the moment I let fury take control... I didnt care, I was hurt, I could feel my heart splitting... I ignored it, and came to the roof... my bare feet echoing on the shingles... I stared to the stars, my skin basking in the moonlight... but then..." she swallowed.  "I saw you and Mel, at first I didnt take notice, but I then saw, the compas.sion, the hair, the division all of it.  I wanted to look away, but I couldnt, the fury and saddness ate away at me and I felt my heart shrivel and shatter.  When I finally turned away, the moment was over, and I stood petrifyed for several moments before retreating back into my dormetry." she continued, the memory causing her to tremble.  "I felt betrayed, and...dead." she stated, her voice more cold then she intended. 

"I could hardly sleep that night... the memory haunting me.  I dont remember dozing off but I remember waking, and the memory still drifting where I had left it.  I blamed it on Draco, and the guilt for that mistake is still killing me today... it was my fault as well... and I promised myself that I would never speak to anyone ever again.  Then Stefan was trying to talk some sence into me, I was done. Done.  I didnt care, his words meant nothing." she stated bitterly.  "Then Mel, I couldnt even stand her... her sorrow made me want to laugh, and take in her pity... allowing myself to grow stronger in her weakest moments.  I said some things just to hurt her.  And I am still unsure if I could ever bring myself to look at her, knowing the things I had said." she continued, "Then I couldnt stand to talk to you... I went back, tried to ignore Malfoy, but he was persistant, he took me to a patch of flowers... that came alive with a simple spell...  reminding me where my heart was... it was the most brilliant thing he had ever done... he got me to come back, and I am trying to forget and forgive... but it is more difficult then once thought..." she finished, her face looking pale, as if she was dead...

"But once a heart breaks, it can be fixed, but it is always missing a stitch." she added in a low whisper.

"Severus~" Stefan sighed.

"Stefan, what am I supposed to do?" Severus asked. "And why is Melanie leaving?" 

"Since when does she listen?" Severus asked Stefan. He shook his head, delaying the answer. "Actually, I don't want to know. I'm going back to my business."

"What about Damon, Severus? You can't just let him leave!" Stefan argued, jumping to his feet.

"Watch me." Severus sneered.
