Melanie smirked, and pulled herself up into an Indian-Style position to get a better look at him, and-more importantly-to get in his face. Which she did, to the point where her nose was centimeters away from hers. "I don't need to prove anything to you for you to know i'm right," She breathed.

Like the fact that you can't say the word we without choking on air, so you're not going to, though you'd never admit that to yourself." Melanie sighed, rolled onto her back, and folded her hands across her stomach.

"You have that..that look...in your eyes. There's like a twinkle in your eye when you try to hide something. Trust me. I've studied them long enough," Melanie said, nearly closing the gap between them, so her lips practically touched his as she spoke. "We won't be together again. I understand that. And, you know what? Maybe it's for the best," She hissed, knowing that if she said she was glad that this was happening, then she'd be lying, and he'd catch her for sure.

"You wish that that was mischief..." Melanie mumbled, then glared at him as he said the things she wished she could've said. "I'll bet you are," She said codly, turning around and sliding off the desk. "I don't care if I'm supposed to be here. I'm leaving."
