"You look lost." Severus told her after ten minutes. He had changed the CD, Avenged Sevenfold blasting out of the speakers. He had lowered it out of courtesy, but loud was loud. "How about you take a break?" He offered, putting a Butterbeer bottle down on the counter. |

"Good, because you just might have to do that." Melanie said with a chuckle, then took a sip of her Butterbeer while trying to read. It did look easier, half the reason she was bad at Potions was because she wanted to torture Snape. Now, she wasn't as into playing stupid, and things made a little more sense. But Potions was still her worst subject, and she knew it.

Melanie laughed, then said, "Gladly." Then she ran off with a "Later, Snapey-Err, Professor," then ran off to Breakfast. "I.Can't.Belive.You!" Ron screamed when she sat down. "What did I do?" Melanie said, knowing exactly what he was talking about. She gave Hermoine a glare, and her response was, "I had to tell him!" Melanie growled fiercely. "You're gonna get it, kid," She said to Hermoine. "Did you tell Harry?" both of them shook their head no. "Good. Don't." ((Mmkay timeskip to Potions. Cause I said so.)) Melanie stormed into Potions, walking quickly in front of Hermoine on purpose. Oh, yeah, Melanie was planning sweet revenge, all right. Who in the right mind would tell Ron any secret of any sort?

((Lol. You can do that.)) Severus paced. He had no idea what was happening. He was getting attached to a Potter. Potter, for crying out loud. For the second time that week, he resisted slamming his head against the stone wall. But now he had students to teach. |

"Same here," Melanie growled. "High school drama meets Wizarding School." She rolled her eyes as Hermoine came into the room, and sat down at her table. When Hermoine sat next to her, Melanie glared at her then ignored her pleads of forgiveness.

Lucky for Melanie, she had read about the Black Fire Potion in the textbook. She snorted. Snape probably planned that. She would have to thank him later. "Easy," Melanie said, pouring and mixing and adding ingredients. When she was done, to her surprise, it turned out the exact color the textbook had shown it to be. Melanie had to admit, she was very proud. But one good grade definitely wouldn't get her overall grades up.
