Melanie's grin quickly turned into a pout. "Well, I missed you~" She was going to say more but she noticed that kids were starting to walk in, so she slid down in her seat without another word.

Melanie grinned softly at Severus before Hermione sat down in the seat next to her. "Hey, Melanie," She said. "You're never around anymore!" Melanie laughed. "I'm a busy girl, I do many things," She replied. "Too busy for your best friend and brother? Oh, and Ron too." Melanie nodded. "Yup," She joked.

"Yeah, totally not right." Stefan agreed, sliding in next to Hermione before Damon could, flashing his brother a grin. Damon grumbled under his breath, taking a seat next to Melanie. |

"Hey'a, boys," Melanie said to Damon and Stefan. Hermione looked at Stefan, then at Melanie, and said, "Mel, can I talk to you for a sec?" Melanie nodded slowly, then grinned. "Sure." Hermione led Melanie to the back of the room. "Can I tell you someth-" Melanie stopped her. "Er, me and Stefan...broke up. You can have him," She laughed. Hermione's eyes widened at her friend. "How...How did you know I was going to..." Melanie smirked. "Face it, 'Mione-I'm smaaarrt." The two of them walked back to their seats. "Sorry about that," Melanie apologized to the two brothers.
