Melanie stormed off down the corridor, unsure of where exactly she was going until she found a vacant cl*censored*room. She chucked her bag across the room, slamming it into a wall, the impact removing all of her parchment and her quills from the bag. She didn't bother to pick it up, only slammed the door behind her and sat down against it and tangling her fingers in her hair to keep herself from yelling.

Severus sighed. It took all of his being not to run out of his office and follow Melanie. But he needed to stay. He needed to let her know he didn't care.

Melanie wondered if Severus would follow her. Probably not. Good, she thought, though Melanie felt a pain in her chest telling her that it was most definitely not good. Why was she mad in the first place? Even Melanie herself didn't have an answer to that.

Melanie finally stood up, gathering her things and stuffing them back into her bag before heading out the door. Not knowing any other way, Melanie headed back to the dorms going the way she came. Without realizing it, Melanie walked considerably slower as she pa.ssed Severus' room. And also considerably louder. She obviously wanted him to hear her.
