Melanie kicked her Converse off of her feet, grabbing the shoes as they went flying in the air. Silvie stepped out of her own flats and laughed at Melanie. God, that girl was crazy.

Melanie reached her left foot over to the nearest blue spot she could manage, which happened to be fairly close to Damon. Almost uncomfortably close. Silvie didn't miss this and felt a hint of jealousy, though she shrugged it off. Melanie still loved Severus, duh. It was so obvious.
