"All righty, then," Melanie said, turning her back to Damon and Severus. "One..." She announced slowly, waiting for them to disappear.

The chains slid from the doors as Damon and Severus melted into the darkness that served at the dungeons. Damon stepped into the corner in front of the door, the shadows welcoming him and floating over his body, carrying him up to the highest floor. Severus snapped his fingers softly, the shadows life soft feathers against his skin as they carried him to the cieling, concealing him there. Anyone who looked up, even with light, would see nothing.

"Wait, are you sure they're not right around here somewhere?" Melanie called, racing after Stefan. Silvie chased behind Melanie, having a feeling that one of them was closer than they thought...

Melanie groaned. "Jeez, fine!" She said, dashing the other way. "Silv, you wanna come with?" She looked back at Silvie. Silvie shook her head..."No, Mel, you stay here. I'll go upstairs...as far as I can go." Silvie wasn't sure if anyone was there, but she had a gut feeling. And, knowing Damon and Severus, they had found a clever way to hide.

Stefan took the second floor, roaming around quietly, muttering Lumos at things to see if he found anyone. This would be hard, considering there were only two of them.

Melanie watched as Silvie raced up the stairs and Stefan went down. She whipped her wand out and muttered, "Lumos." She moved her wand around, letting the light hit different places. She stopped and thought for a second. "Wait, this is Severus and Damon...they would think of ways to make sure that they wouldn't be seen, even with Lumos." With that, she tried another spell. "Finite Incantatum," Melanie said quietly, flicking her wand. The spell that was supposed to end all current spells or charms. She crossed her fingers and hoped it would work.

Damon gasped silently, muttering a counter spell that would both keep him safe and send Melanie to the next floor. Severus had nothing to worry about, considering that magic wasn't what hid him.
