Damon chuckled loudly, the sound echoing off the walls and into the whole school. Stefan heard the noise, his trained ears locating the distance between him and the sound. Excited, his raced quietly up the stairs to the top floor.

Now Melanie was also on the top floor, and as soon as her feet touched the ground, Silvie raced up a staircase on one side and Stefan on the other. "Well, the gang's all here, I suppose."
