"Severus," Melanie said again, more sternly now, her gaze never falling from him. "You can't tell me, that just now, you didn't feel something. When we were chasing each other, it felt just like old times. Like I belonged with you; like we belonged together."

Severus grabbed her swiftly, laying a kiss against her cheek. He knew the tears were coming, and he was going to stop them. They were having fun.

Melanie grabbed Silvie's arm, then snapped and the two were gone in a flash, off onto the grounds. She draped her Invisibility Cloak over her and Silvie, and Silvie mumbled a charm that would protect them from any spells that would reveal them. They sat underneath a tree, much to Melanie's protest. Because that happened to be the tree Melanie and Damon always sat under...and where they kissed...but still, Damon would look here. She knew it.

"So, Mel," Silvie whispered, curious. "What happened with Snape?" Melanie chuckled coldly. "You know, the usual. Flirting, denial, rejection. In that order. Then repeat the cycle."
