Melanie smiled, though she didn't say anything back because she didn't want to wake him and she was too sleepy for words. She soon fell asleep herself. She dreamt of Damon, which she didn't like at all.

Melanie woke up slowly, yawning and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. She looked to her side, and started to freak out when Severus wasn't there, but then she heard the shower going and sighed in relief. She sat up, thinking about last night.

Melanie kissed him back, comparing the feelings between kissing him and kissing Damon. Kissing Severus was more passionate, more caring, but kissing Damon was lustful; longing. It was so weird.
