Tobi wiggled out of her arms, running back to the room to lick Severus before running back to Melanie, walking in front of her, ready for any attacking forces.

Melanie giggled at the puppy. "C'mon, boy, let's go show you off to Hermione and Harry!" She said, taking off, running down the halls.

Tobi yipped, instinct taking over as he full out chased her, his cute little tongue hanging out of his mouth as he breezed past people.

Melanie laughed all the way to the Great Hall, where she skidded to a stop and scooped Tobi up in her arms. She made her way to her seat, grinning at her friends' gaping faces. "Where'd you-" "How'd you get Dumbledore to-" "What's its na-" "Quiet, you three!" Melanie cut Hermione, Harry and Ron off, laughing. "It was a gift. His name's Tobi. And Dumbledore loves me. Duh."

Hermione reached her hand out to pet him, looking at Mel. Melanie nodded, and Hermione stroked him, smiling. "He's so cute!"

Tobi moved his head, licking Hermione's hand. Yes, he understood human speech. He looked down at the bacon and back at Melanie, whining once, the sound soft.

"Good." Stefan flashed her a smile. Severus strode into the Great Hall, his boots making heavy, hollow thuds as he stalked to his seat, obviously angry. Dolores Umbridge was getting on his nerves. Tobi kicked itno high gear when he saw Severus, squirming. |
