Melanie tried to calm Tobi. "It's all right, Tobi. We'll see him after," She whispered to the dog. She was looking at Severus herself, wondering why he was so angry. Probably Umbridge.

Severus whistled softly, Tobi altogether jumping out of Mel's arms to fly down the aisle. He sprang into Severus' lap, tail wagging way too fast for the eye to see.

Melanie groaned, glaring at Severus. "Oh, I see who the gift's from," Harry said, waggling his eyebrows in a teasing way. "Shut up," Melanie responded, sticking her tongue out at her brother. She didn't want to tell them that Severus had gotten Tobi for her because of the teasing that she knew would happen.

Melanie and Harry were both watching in Tobi's direction, and both looked at each other and started cracking up at Remus' reaction. It was funny, seeing a man they thought was so brave such as Remus go soft at the sight of a puppy.

Tobi reache dup, nuzzling into Remus' hand, which melted everyone at the table's heart. Except for Umbridge. "Em em." Dumbledore turned to her, eyebrow raised. "Yes?" "Dogs are not permitted in Hogwarts, yes?" She asked. Dumbledore chuckled. "Not usually, but I have made a few exceptions." |
