Severus felt his eyes gla.ss over. "Potter, you are dismissed." He growled. Damon sprinted over, grabbing a handful of Melanie's shirt and pulling her out of the room. "Don't ever do that again!" He whisper-yelled to her, blocking her way back into the room. Severus shook with anger, mad at himself for the snap. He fought every nerve in his body to go and throttle Melanie. |

"Mysterious. That might get you somewhere in life. Chicks dig that," Melanie said simply, then freed herself, walking back into Snape's room. "Severus...I..I'm sorry." She ran to him, sat on his desk next to where he was, and laid a comforting hand on his shoulder. She then kissed his cheek softly.
