Melanie growled at herself; she screwed up big-time. "See you, Snape," She said angrily, mad at him and herself. "Just remember when you're not sleeping tonight that I won't be, either." With tears in her eyes once again, Melanie stormed out. Back in the Dormitory, Melanie kept her promise. She was having a sleepless night, and she knew that Snape most likely was as well. She hoped he was, anyway. Uncomfortable, she tossed and turned, unable to keep Severus out of her head.
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

((Yes plz.)) Melanie was up until the light of early morning shone through the Dorm. Knowing that she would soon have to head over to Snape's, she groaned, rubbed her eyes, and checked herself in the mirror. She looked like she did that one time when she pulled an all-nighter with Hermione a couple months back. And she didn't care. All she did was brush her hair and teeth, get changed, and pack her bag with things she would need. She looked a little better, but had lines underneath her bright green eyes that made Melanie wish she wore makeup more often. She yawned, very tired, and made her way out the door. "Hello, Professor," She said sleepily, yawning once more. "How did your night go?"

"Yup." Melanie sat in her usual spot-his desk-and got out her textbook and flipped to a totally random page, not bothering to ask which ones she should study. She couldn't concentrate, she was so tired...and it didn't help that Snape was right there, too. Severus always intimidated her.

Melanie rolled her eyes, she knew what Snape was doing. He was trying to avoid her, trying not to think about her. Melanie also knew that he was probably failing at it. She was doing the same thing right now.

Melanie laughed. "Like I haven't called him Severus before," she said to Damon, noticing his slip. "Oh yeah, Snapey, lookit!" Melanie rolled her eyes, over and over and over.

"Damnit, Snape," Melanie said with a growl. "Finite," She said, and felt her eyes moving wherever she wanted again. And that was towards Snape. She tried not to look at him, but she couldn't help it.

"Sir Yes Sir!" Melanie said sarcastically, then looked back to the book. Freaking Snape. He could hold a pretty good grudge, she gave him that. But she doubted that it would last. She was irresistible, of course. Melanie laughed mentally.
