"I will not tolerate that insolent mouth of yours here, Potter." Severus growled out, glaring at her. "You, your brother and your swine of a father all have that evil contraption. Of course, you fools would never think of putting it to good use, instead trying to retort with half-@ssed witty remarks instead." He sneered, leaning back in his chair.

"And I don't believe I can give you any more possible detention, unless you'd like me to take your Sundays as well. Of course, that would cut into my time, but I'm sure I'll manage."

"Don't.Insult.My.Father." Melanie's head jerked up as Snape mentioned James. "Or else I will be seeing you on Sundays, too." She grumbled something unintelligible, then continuing to copy files.

Severus rolled his eyes, lazily waving his hand. The wand flew into his hand, where he tucked it into his sleeve.

"Can't do much now, can you? I can get you expelled for threatening me, Potter. No matter how empty, useless, or utterly foolish they are."

"How touching," Severus said sarcastically, noting the tear. "Reveling in memories?"

Silvie grabbed the quaffle from a Gryffindor chaser in a blur, she manuevered her way around the players, tucking the ball under her arm...the Gryffindor goals approaching fast.  She saw the blurred red and green streak across the field as she dodged a bludger, taking a shot at the left goal... the quaffle shooting through with ease... She smiled to herself as she heard the announcer say the points she had earned, she took off back into the stadium.  She noticed her friend flying past her, hoping he had found the snitch.  Silvie ducked from another bludger, turning her broomstick, and spotting her teamate with the quaffle once more, she raced up the field, ready to recieve a pas.s, which she did.  She awaited the Gryffindors to come at her before, throwing the ball back to her fellow chaser, who took a shot on the goal...blocked by the keeper.

"Leave me alone, Snape," Melanie said, harsher than she meant to sound. She choked back frustrated tears again as she began to copy down, pressing the quill harder down; her handwriting became more sloppy.

Severus complied, slightly muffed by her voice. He sighed, putting his book down. He looked down at her, his eyes softening so slightly that he cursed himself. He checked his watch before leveling his gaze.

"Go, you have enough time to watch the last ten minutes of the game."
