"Ooh, Drama!" Melanie said. It wasn't a surprise that Damon liked her, she pretty much knew it the whole time. What she didn't know was that when he admitted it she would feel so happy. It was a weird feeling, like if her boyfriend just said 'I love you' for the first time. The feeling when you know that they...that they feel the same way. But Melanie didn't have feelings for Damon. Not at all. So why did it feel like she did?

Silvie felt her blood run cold at Damon's words. She was flattered by the statement, and she felt her eyes show a mixture of emotions...shock, happiness, wickedness, but most of all... shock, with all the rumors flying around about Damon and the other girls. She was at a loss for words. She felt her mouth open but no words came out... she simply allowed a light smile, perhaps she felt the same way... question was, would she believe his words/

"And, uh, Silvie, you waiting for flies?" Damon asked, gesturing to her open mouth. "or do you want me to help you close it?" |

Severus didn't say anything; couldn't say anything. Damon was right, she needed to know that she had options other than him, and a small part of him wanted her to choose Damon. But most of him didn't. |

The pain in Melanie's chest grew as she thought about how Damon just said he liked her. She realized that she wanted him to like her. Very much. But, she loved Severus. Melanie was sure that she did. Being a sixteen-year-old girl had its side effects.

Damon's eyes met Melanie's, and he gave her a smirk laced with mischief. Yes, he knew what he said had hit home. Only problem was, Severus looked like he was fighting an internal battle on whether or not he should throttle or thank Damon.

Silvie closed her mouth and her mouth twisted into a wicked grin, "Actually I'm debating whether to believe you." and that was the truth, she always had a hard time involving trust. She glanced at Melanie, knowing what she was thinking...she and Severus were in love, love she didnt completly understand, but then again...could anyone ever tell? ((sorry had to eat))
