Melanie came up above the water at the sound of a helicopter. "Whoa!" She said, looking up at it.
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

Go!" He smirked, clapping once. The ground moved, a stage and even more patio and such appearing. "Whoo! Where's the birthday girl?" March Anthony asked, the first one to reach the Mic. |

Hugh said, pulling him up to his feet and pushing him towards the stage. "This is my good friend Severus. Everyone say 'hi'." Marc instructed, clapping him on the back. "Hi!" Everyone said, while the girls murmured to themselves. Severus felt himself grow hot, smirking. "Girls, can you please stop talking about his body, or I'll go get him a shirt." Hugh grinned. |

Melanie rose her eyebrows and widened her eyes at Snape. Then she glared at him and stormed off, headed for...she didn't know where she was headed for, really. She just went inside and sat against a wall, her face red with anger.

Melanie glared at Severus. "You're going to throw away all of this-for a stupid bet?!" She nearly yelled. "Severus. When I kissed him...it meant nothing. Nothing. Kissing you...it feels so different. Like I'm meant to be there, in your arms. Don't you realize that?!" Tears were blinding her vision now, but she wipped them away with her hand before they could fall. She yanked her arm out of his grasp and turned on her heels.

Melanie was crying now, and there was no way of hiding it. She grabbed Snape's arm. "Listen. What I did...I have no regrets. I never do. But if I could take that kiss back, I so would. It was wrong. And stupid."

Severus found himself walking backwards, pulled by someone else. "Party's out here, guys." "Melanie.." He sighed, bending down to kiss her. His arms wound around her waist as he felt what was pulling him cease. "My baby you, are the reason I can fly. And cause of you, I don't have to wonder why. My baby you. There's no more just getting by... You're the reason to feel. So alive." Marc sang as the spotlight illuminated them two. |
