Of course, you can't forget Damon and Stefan Salvatore.
Damon Salvatore. In the early days of the relationship of Melanie Potter and Severus Snape, Damon arrives at Hogwarts. He says he's been kicked out of Drumstrang. Snape and Damon have known each other for who-knows-how-long, and Sev pretty much considers Damon as close to a 'friend' he'll ever get.
That is, of course, 'till Damon decides he's gonna pull everyone's heartstrings.
Once again, Damon Salvatore falls in love with the wrong person. And that person this time happens to be Melanie. The thing is: Melanie likes Damon, too. A lot more than she should. She won't admit it to herself that she loves him, but she does. The story of Melanie and Damon's relationship involves too much flirting, rejection, and kissing; and results in both of them leaving Hogwarts at one point. Our story, though, picks up just hours after Damon has left, although with there being only one full day of school left, we can't really say that he's left Hogwarts itself. He's gone now, which basically leaves Melanie torn. He had promised to see her over the summer, but right now we're not too sure if he's keeping that.
Now on to Stefan. Stefan's story is far less complex than Damon's; probably because he's just all-around a much more simple person. He's almost the polar opposite of his brother. He comes in shortly after Damon arrives, pretending to be Mel's boyfriend because Damon had accidently let it slip that she had one (he was referring to Severus).
Stefan's almost always been there for Melanie, through all of the crazy loops and jumps this rollercoaster ride has had. Thankfully, the two have never shared anything romantic, besides the few kisses on the cheek when they had pretended to date. He's currently with 'Mione Granger, now, who just happens to be one of Mel's best friends.
