Ah-hah. There he was. Melanie giggled at the looks Sev gave the first years...well, almost second years. Hermione uncomfortably leaned towards Stefan, afraid of Ron's reaction. Ron, though, seemed to ignore it. For now.

Severus looked up, seeing Mel and giving her an annoyed look, though it wasn't directed at her. These children were going to make him have an aneurism.

"Just leave him be. He'll be fine." Hermione whispered into Stefan's ear. Melanie, who was sitting across the three next to Harry, said, "Ron. Next to me. Now." Ron grumbled something and got up to sit in between Mel and Harry. She glared at him before looking back at Severus. "Go," she whined. She didn't want more trouble to start.
