He chuckled. "There would be a long list of people that's be waiting to kill me if it was my fault you died, Mel. And I have enough things haunting me already." Damon replied, revving the engine and enjoying the purr that vibrated through his body. The air around them shimmered, the tall tell sign that they were now invisible.

Damon revved the bike, the tires skidding and the front one lifting. He held fast, laughing as the bike sped down the blacktop on one wheel before jumping into the sky. The Jaguar seemed to come to life under them, the metal heating as the bikes form shifted. It stretched his legs, climbing into the sky as it let out a roar.

"Damon, you ass!" Melanie yelled over the roar of the bike. Her grip on him tightened.

"Calm down, I said I wouldn't let you fall." Damon said, turning his head towards her. He let go of the handles, the metal becoming warm and soft. Anyone with their eyes closed would think it was fur. The Jaguar sprinted through the sky, the leaps and bouncs it took propelling them at a crazy speed.

Melanie just bit down on her lip, her eyes meeting his. She held onto him tightly, not being able to help feeling totally safe with him.

"We're completely safe, Mel." Damon added, craning his neck to kispeck her lips. The Jaguar's roar ripped through the sky as it speed up, it's legs becoming a blur.

Damon grinned, his heart speeding up at both the altitude and because of the words. In turn, the Jaguar sped up, ripping through the sky.

Melanie shook her head at what she just admitted. Since when did that happen? She tried to take her mind off it by asking him "How much longer on this deathtrap?"

"It's not a deathtrap." Damon laughed, but it started to speed up even more, if that was possible. It descended at an angle, racing towards the ground.

"No, it isn't. You don't know it, but you couldn't get off this bike if you tried. I've owned his thing for over ten years, and I've fallen... Once. And it scooped me up right out of the sky." The metal started cooling, but only slightly, as it jetted onto the empty street. From there it cooled completely, taking it's form as a motorcycle once more. |

"I was testing myself. I was trying to see how far I'd fall before I Apparated." He shrugged. "But the bike didn't take that too well." The Jaguar let out one last roar as it stopped, the houses in front of them speading to show where the Meeting was. |
