She walked on a tree limb sharpening her knife. She was looking for one of the kings deer to get for her team. She saw one and shot it with her arrow. She ran after where it had landed. It was a giant male deer that was too heavy for a 82 pound girl.

"Need some help?" Robin asked leaned against a tree on a branch. "Nice shot by the way" he said with a strait face. He had always been the cool silent type. He had never really expressed his feelings.

I looked around at the lush, green forest. It was truly beautiful here. Of course, I never told anyone that. I never told anyone what I was thinking. As a matter of fact, I rarely spoke at all. I picked up a rock off of the forest floor, turning it in my fingers before chucking it at a bird in a tree above me. I heard the light green leaves rustle for a moment, then heard a thud as the bird fell to the ground. Just because I liked birds doesn't mean I wouldn't kill them either way. Just like humans.
In the distance, I heard an elk's bugle. It was a beautiful sound. One that meant food. Lots and lots of food. For where there is one bull elk, there is sure to be others. Where there are other bulls, there are sure to be cow elk. Elk mean food in this land, but not many people could take a full grown elk down single handed. As my feet started moving in the direction in which I heard the bugle, I attached the little bird to my belt by it's foot. It wasn't much meat on this bird, but maybe I could use it as bait for some of the predators in this area.
As my feet moved into position, I silently pulled the large knife from it's place on my belt. I had about a dozen more hanging in the same spot, and I knew I was going to need them. The huge, brown bull slowly emerged from the trees. I pulled my knife up to my throwing position, waiting for the elk to come into full view. A moment passed, and I found myself missing not only one, but four knives from my belt. I looked back in the direction the elk had fled, a smile curling the ends of my lips ever so slightly. I stood back up, putting the knife that was in my hand back in the sheath.

Robin doesnt know her yet they form a group against the Saxons.(I know this because Im reading the novel in class)

"Just call me Robin." he said jumping down from the branch. "You shot down quite the big deer." he said examining it. Robin then heard someone in the distance. "We might want to hurry if you want this to be your dinner." Robin said.

Xavier held his sword tightly in his right hand as he watched Robin and Elena from the shadows. He wrinkled his nose in disgust as he they lifted the enormous deer. Xavier couldn't stand thiefs and as far as he was concerned, anyone who even talked to Robin was a thief. Xavier thought of stepping out to confront the two.
He's all alone... Now would be my chance to capture him...
Xavier took a step forward then stopped dead in his tracks. He looked around, half expecting Robins men to jump out at him.
The woods are crawling with Robins men... I'd better hang back for now and wait for a better chance.
Xavier retraced his steps back into the shadows and watched silently.
