Raphael smiled, saying, "That's fine, too," He straightened, rubbing his left forearm. "But maybe you'd like to chase the vampire in that tree?" He gestured to the tree behind him, and heard the soft rustle of leaves. Destery had flinched. "You noticed me?" he asked softly. Raphael didn't bother to reply.

His hand reached out and covered the girl's mouth. He felt a scream building up inside of her chest, but she suddenly collapsed. Dang it. How was he supposed to deal with a mundane if she wasn't even conscious? Xavier looked at Josh for help, growling under his breath in frustration.

Kelsey helped the other mundane girl up, staring at Xavier with wide eyes. Josh scowled at him. "Nice going." Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Men.." she said, like it was a definition. "I knew you were there the entire time, you tree-hugging squirrel vamp. Come down." Jace walked up to them quietly.

Xavier gave the mundane girl to the other one with ease, uncomfortable. He shrugged and said to Josh, "She was going to faint sooner or later." ___ Shadow walked along silently, shadows surrounding her body, concealing her from the mundane eye. Her long black hair was done up in a messy bun, but some loose hairs tickled the nape of her neck.
