Josh ninja-rolled to Zoey's side and stood up, narrowing his eyes at the gathering shadows. "I coulda swore I saw someone." Jace retorted, "You're going crazy, Josh. It's okay. We all saw it coming." He prepared for Josh to explode at him, but he didn't. Awee. Kelsey ignored everyone and tried to revive the girl.

Her hands were tense at her sides, though, ready to call upon the darkness if she needed to. Shadow's lips curved up into a semi-smile, devious yet challenging.
