Jace grinned at her, "Why don't you try and MAKE ME, Zoey. Or do I sense a tone of jealousy?"

Josh snarled, rounding on Jace, "That's it. I've had it with your taunts. I've had it with your viscious jokes. I've also had it with your being rude to everyone around you. Zoey and I included."

"What'cha gonna do, Joshie, to make me stop? Kill me, JUST LIKE SARAH?"

Josh recoiled like he'd been shocked, and pressed himself against the wall of the allyway, wishing he could die, or disappear. Jace grinned in satisfaction.

Jace kicked her in the ribs, dislodging her from his arm. "Awe," he taunted, eyes cold, "I think I sense some affection." He called on the dumpster, which leaped on Zoey and locked her inside. He blew on his fingers, like it was a hot gun. "I love my powers."

Josh glanced at Shadow apologetically. 

Jace frowned. "Dupmster, I release you." He looked around for anything else he could use. Brucks, garbage cans, garbage, walls, houses, windows, gl*censored* shards. He snarled, "Glas.s shards, I call you." He flung them all at Zoey.

Josh inched towards Shadow, eyes wide.

Jace grinned. "Next time, dolly, I don't suggest biting me." He spun around to face Josh, who was almost next to Shadow. "Josh," he snarled, hurling the last remander of the glas.s at him with extra strength.

Numerous pieces p*censored*ed through him, but one of the larger shards pierced his heart, and Josh toppled over, coughing up blood. Jace smirked. "I'm done now." Josh coughed again, oily blood staining the ground.

Shadow narrowed her eyes at the violent supernatural.  A pureblood, obviously.  A torrent of anger raced through her.  Ignoring the bloodlust rising up in her, she threw her hands forward,pointing them at the one they had called Jace.

"Shadows, attack." She whispered.

Immediately, thousands of shadows slipped past her fingers in a stream of black.  They wound their way around and over Jace, capturing him.  Shadow didn't want to cause a ruckus, though, and called the shadows back as quickly as they had attacked.  She sniffed in the male's direction, and then went to crouch over the injured one's body.

Josh winced, and watched as the hole in his chest started to heal. "God damnit," he cursed, spitting out more blood and sitting up. "Good thing I'm immortal..." He coughed again, and spit the blood out. "Ugh, now I know why they call you people pure blood. Mine tastes like sh!t."

Jace scowled, and checked his body for any lingering cuts and bruises. There were a few, dripping blood, but he ignored them and focused on Charlotte and Raphael.

Kelsey dropped the other mundane and staggered to stand next to Josh and the others.

Shadow shot the mundane a warning look.

"Stay back," she warned, then returned her attention to Josh.

She fought back the bloodlust quickly rising up in her, and quickly as.sessed his body.  He was right; good thing he was immortal.  Shadow sighed and stood up, and then looked towards the other mundane, realizing that she was waking.

Kelsey snapped at Shadow, "Make me." She was fed up with being pushed around by Jace and the others.

She turned her attention to the other girl. Shasta or something, wasn't it?

Destery snorted, then swung down, hanging upside in the tree. "I'm eighteen; not eight." he said, smiling. "Well, at least, I was turned into a vampire when I was eighteen. Now, I'm, like, older."

Raphael stayed quiet, smiling contently.

Josh coughed up a little shard of glas,s and som emore blood. He glanced up at her and ignored her question. "Thanks for sticking up for me," he said quietly, eyes focused on the ground now, where is blood pooled. "I'm sorry for the trouble I got you in."

Jace started to chant, "Josh and Zoey, sitting in the tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the demon baby in the hell-like carriage." He chuckled, and blew a fake kiss at Zoey.
