Josh turned bright red at Jace's taunting, and started to quiver. He struggled to controll himself.

Jace laughed.

"Well, you act old." Destery said, stretching and yawning. "Owwie," He winced, placing a hand on his side. "My back cracked. Did you hear the pop? I sounded wet."

Raphael chuckled, turning around and stretching his snow white wings out in front of Charlotte. "I did," he said softly.

Josh closed his eyes, but couldn't stop shaking. His hands clenched into fists at his sides. "I can't take it anymore," he growled through clenched teeth. "I can't stand it."

Jace started to snicker.

Josh hoped his eyes weren't turning black, but he knew that only happened when he craved blood. He was going to say something back, but he decided against it, and fought the waves of anger that pushed him towards going wolf.

Jace smirked, and leaned against one of the walls. "You know me well, Babe," he chimed, eyes cold like two flints of frozen ice. "Just like you knew me well back in the other ally way."

"Oh yeah," Jace mused, "I forgot. You're not into angels. You're into Joshua's."

Josh exploded, and whipped around to face Jace. He said inbetween snarls and growls, "I am sick and tired of your sh!t Jace. I'm tired of being pushed around and taunted. I only let you go on for so long, because I clung onto the hope that you would be the only person to like me," his voice got colder, "But I was wrong. You don't; nobody does. And it's because I'm different." He shook his head. "But no more. Next person to bring up my past, or tease me about anything else gets their throat ripped out." He dropped into a crouch. "Starting with you."

Jace flexed hsi fingers, eyes narrowing as he called for the silver blade that was sheathed in the folds of Charlotte's skirt. "Bring it."

"Oh," Josh snarled, eyes turning slightly black, "I brought it."

Josh said back icily, "I was born in a hole of a life, Zoey. Why not dig it deeper and try to get something done before you die. Why bother leaping out of the hole and into a world where you're a freak?" He focused on Jace again, who seemed to be consentrated on something else.

"Make the first move, pup." Jace snapped, mouth twitching into a feral smile. Josh leaped at him, teeth and fangs digging into his upper arm and elbow. He snapped the bones between his jaw with satisfaction. 

Jace twisted his other wrist, and the silver blade went flying through the air, aimed for Josh's heart. He hissed under his breath, "Blade of silver, Blade of death. Aim to make Josh breath his last breath." 

The blade sunk into Josh's chest, and he let go of Jace's arm. He staggered on his feet, and then flopped onto his side and breathed in and out deeply. Blood soaked his fur. Both his and Jace's.

Jace scowled, and tored the blade out of Josh's chest. He stabbed at Zoey's throat angrily, fighting back tears of pain. Blood dripped down his side, but he ignored it. The blade sliced through flesh, but he wasn't sure where on Zoey he had sliced.

Josh lay still consentrating on keeping his heart beating. Something must have distracted Jace, because the only the very tip of the blade had touched his heart...

Jace winced, and stabbed the knife through the space between her shoulder blades. His side throbbed, and blood spilled down his leg and onto the ground at an alarming rate.

Blood bubbled in Josh's throat, and he started to choke on it.

Jace finally got pissed. He grabbed the silver blade and jammed it into her heart. He was certain he hit the mark, too.

He shoved Zoey off of him and held his side, trying to set the flesh in the right position as it healed. He swore numerous times. It stung like a mother..

Josh's leg flailed as he struggled to breath. More blood bubbled in his throat as he struggled, and he was barely aware of the gaping wound in his throat.

Finally Josh spit the blood out, and looked around warily. He dragged himself towards Zoey, whimpering like a puppy that was just kicked too many times.

Jace ground his teeth together as it healed.
