"I imagine you enjoy doing other things with trees too," Charlotte said sourly. She looked for her blade out of boredness.. and it wasn't there. "Where's my blade?" She hadn't even noticed when Jace summoned it. Kelsey watched, seeming dazed.

Destery crossed his arms, then swung himself on to the branch, landing in a crouch. "Oh, how inappropriate." he said with a twisted smile.

Shadow had first thought that it would have been smartest to stay back, out of the fight. but what this...this thing was doing was not okay, not even by her standards. She leapt out at Jave with a snarl of fury. "Shadows, attack." Her voice was deadly low, serious this time. Her eyes narrowed into a glare as she saw them begin to creep towards that miserable scrap of skin. Turning her attention to the wounded two, she crouched down beside them. "Are you going to be okay?" she asked, though it seemed obvious enough that they weren't. Using the small amout of energy that wasn't focused on the shadow attack, she drew up a small wisp of a shadow. "My power isn't much of a healing one," she said wryly, "But I can stop the bleeding. Hold still." She gingerly tore the shadow in half and placed it on their two biggest wounds. She called one shadow back from the attack, and split it up, covering the last of the wounds. "There," she said, satisfied.

"Your face is an inappropriate," Charlotte shot back, "Definition good looking." Her tail lashed back and forth in annoyance. Josh didn't move. He only breathed deeply in and out. Jace cursed, and called on the silver blade again. He whipped it at Shadow.

Shadow cursed as the blade flew at her, narrowly dodging it... or so she thought. The blade bit into the flshy part of her arm, stinging as it flew by.

Shadow looked to Josh, concerned. They were both very badly injured, but was blood supposed to bubble like that?

Shadow spat some nasty curses at Jace as she doged the glas.s shards, but let out a screech-like sound as some pierced her skin. Grimacing, she wondered how much longer she could hold up the shadows. Their attack was beginning to recede...
