Charlotte nodded, and consentrated on channeling the water. Josh gasped; the water felt icy cold next to the hell-like burning inside him. His stomach gave a terrifying wretch, and he flopped onto the bench, leaning over and puking out a mouthful of blood. Blood-smeared tears streamed down his face. Charlotte consentrated harder; the silver would kill him soon.

Raphael bit his lip. "I'm not a bad person, though...Why do you treat me as such?" He swallowed. "I didn't even do anything!" Destery whined quietly.

Zoey felt her throat tighten, and she knelt next to Josh. She wiped off his face. "Listen to me Josh. Don't think about the pain, just listen to me okay? Everything will be okay," she said holding him down slightly. "Charlotte, it has to be soon," she said quietly.

"Just don't," Kelsey choked out, "I'm so sick and tired of all this bullsh!t. I wish somebody would.." she glanced at Jace for a moment, but looked back to Raphael, "I wish somebody would just kill me already." Jace smirked. "With pleasure."

Charlotte nodded grimly. Red water seeped out of the wound, carrying the silver bullet with it. But little did she know, there was still one more bullet; almost right next to his heart. Josh's back arched, and he let out a piercing scream. Charlotte gasped, and ripped off the shirt he had stolen earlier. "God damnit Josh," she swore, studying the bullethole in his chest. She called on fresh water again. Josh collapsed, completely still. Charlotte set to work, but she could help feel she was too late.

"Well, I'm sick and tired of everyone looking at me like I'm food. I can't get a papercut without someone trying to rip my throat out. I'm sick of being stuck in the middle of all this immortal crap. I want.." She choked, tears starting to form in her eyes, "I want to go back to the way everything was. I want to live on the streets in peace, no Destery, no Jace, no Josh.." she looked at Raphael. "No you."

Zoey was pretty much freaking out. She couldn't do anything to help, she had no powers. She shakily whispered things to Josh, only hoping that he could hear her. C'mon Charlotte.., she thought desperately.

"I can do that." Raphael said quickly, possessing both Destery and Jace as soon as he finished speaking. "I'll keep the immortals away from you, and...you can try and live a normal life."

"Impossible," Kelsey sighed, vision wavering due to tears, "I've already met everyone. I've already witnessed the immortal world. I can't go back." Jace was possessed <--- ;O Charlotte pulled the bullet out, and let the water splash to the ground. Black blood spilled out of Josh's chest. He breathed short, shallow breaths. He was hardly alive. Charlotte growled, "I hate those damned mundanes.."

Zoey was still whispering things to Josh. "I hate them too," she said speaking with undeniable hatred and anger in her voice before going back to trying to comfort Josh.

Josh pulled Zoey into a tight hug, setting his head on her shoulder. "I think I've decided," he murmured, closing his eyes peacfully. Charlotte stood up gracefully, and left the allyway. She walked into the one Raphael and Kelsey were in. "I don't want you to do that," Kelsey murmured, taking a step towards him, "I don't deserve it."
