Josh stared at him like he'd grown a third eye. "F-fight? Impossible!" He flicked the hair out of his face, revealing his mark that he tried to hide. In the ancient language, his mark meant 'cursed'. He realized he'd shown his mark, and quickly let his hair fall back into place. He swallowed nervously.

"W-what was that?" Shasta's voice was shaky and terrified. What had she just witnessed? Was she crazy? Two men had just sprouted wings, tails, and fangs. She was standing at the mouth of the alley, her legs shaking like Jell-O.

Charlotte growled, "She's a special mundane, you imbocile! SHE IS DESTINED TO BE IMMORTAL." She stalked away, dragging a dazed Kelsey behind her. "I wouldn't have really slept with you, y'know," Jace admitted sheepishly, still rubbing his jaw where Charlotte had punched him. "Damnit.. she sure can throw a punch!"

Xavier whipped around as Josh whispered the word. Dang it. He stalked towards the human, as graceful as any predator. His eyes narrowed at her small, weak frame, and then he lunged at her, just as she screamed.

Jace grunted, "I'm sure you did." He rolled his eyes indifferently, and got up. He stared after Charlotte. "I like a girl with attitude," he commented. ((QUOTE FROM FIRST PAGE :O)) __ Josh ignored Xavier's hand and focused on the mundane. __ Charlotte and Kelsey stopped at the edge of the ally way, right behind the second mundane.

He snarled. "You spill any of her blood, and I will go insane. WE DO NOT WANT THAT." Charlotte watch, slightly panicked. Kelsey rushed to Shasta's side.
