The school had asked her to come in early for the day, so they could show Beatrice around and give her a 'proper' tour. So somehow Beatrice had ended up at the school gates at 6:17 AM, grinding her teeth and wishing that her father had ultimately not accepted the new position at the local university. The whole ordeal of moving, then applying at a regular school, and learning how to interact with people her age was setting Beatrice's nerves on edge. With deft fingers she grabbed her hair up in a loose horsetail, squared her shoulders against the impending doom she sensed, and marched through the wide gates that led to the administration building.
The man at the desk looked up briefly before sighing and putting down his pen. Crooking a finger he beckoned Beatrice over and indicated she could sit in the uncomfortable looking chair nearby.
"Name?"
"Beatrice Lee Monterastelli."
"Grade?"
"Twelfth."
"Alright. You begin class in an hour. Mrs. Brown will show you around the school until then. Here's your schedule, map and a list of the textbooks you will require. One thing, before you go. Which language will you choose?"
"Uh...Latin?" Beatrice blurted out nervously. Perhaps it would have been better to try a new one, but she really could not have been bothered with being the only kid in the class who had no idea how to speak French or Spanish.
"Very well. Tell that to Mrs. Brown. Ah...there she is." Looking back at his papers Beatrice stood there for a moment, awkwardly playing with her hands, before turning around to look at a jolly woman standing by the door. Smiling at her broadly Mrs. Brown waved a hand and adjusted her glasses simultaneously.
"Come along dear. You must be Beatrice. Wonderful! I suppose we'll start with all of the classrooms, then go on with the specialty buildings."
"Right," Beatrice replied cautiously, allowing a hand to be draped loosely over her shoulder.
The classrooms were boring and passed with a blur. Same with the dining hall, school shop and various labs and computer rooms scattered around the institute. But when Mrs. Brown paused in front of the library, it took only one look before Beatrice had full permission to go inside and browse around.
Almost beyond giddy Beatrice headed straight for the language section, glad to see the library had simple way of organizing books. The shelves were long and tall, each crammed with books of various dates and subjects. When she hit the foreign language branch Beatrice scanned the texts with a grin, finally settling on a book about philosophy in Latin. Sitting down in one of the comfy armchairs Beatrice propped it up on her lap and began reading.
Ooc; Eh, anyone can come bother her. LOL
And please don't let her be the only one taking Latin. ;c

At 7:00 Piper entered the school building. She immediately peered at her watch, assuring herself that she still have about fifteen minutes until her latin class began. She hurried over to her locker and shoved the door open. She was in her senior year and wanted to make a lasting impression on her teachers. Of course, she knew she would. Piper opened her school bag and looked through it for her phone, gum and anything else she would be needing to make sure her latin teacher got a heck of a surprise. "Ok. Now I just need to stick the gum to the chair, and make sure her phone is within no reaching distance." Piper thought to herself as she heaved her heavy books into the locker. 7:06, Piper read on the clock. She half ran, half trotted through the hall way all the way to room 16, the Latin classroom. The lights were out and the door, was half open. Cautiously, Piper stuck her head into the classroom, happy to find no-one there. She crept toward the desk and pulled out the soft, black chair. "Ok," she whispered taking out a stick of mint flavored Stride gum. After carefully chewing it for two minutes straight, she slapped it on the chair and moved the classroom phone to the edge of the table. After making sure everything was in order, Piper stood up and brushed herself off. She gave herself a pat on the back and walked off down the hall to the library. She remembered the classrooms by not only the numbered rooms, but by how much the teachers hated her. When she neared the library she finally made the conclusion, she was not liked in this school. She heaved the heavy doors of the library open and began to slink through the isles pretending to be a regular student. ((Fail :P. It's not all that bad though... Have beatrice come talk to Piper if you want something to do. They are both in the same grade, 18 years old and I made them take latin together.))

((So these are our settings? :D Then let's have Aoshi and Akashi on a fine morning too! XD lol But they live in Okinawa. O_o can there be some meeting point in the North Pole later on or something? XD trololol.))
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Akashi kicked his roommate's bed more violently than he had meant to, knocking Aoshi off the bed. The white haired adolescent half-opened his eyes, not a hint of sleepiness left in them. Akashi should have been happy, but he had sooner realised that Aoshi literally had steam pouring out of his ears, despite how much he disliked the heat.
Akashi tumbled back on Aoshi's study chair behind him awkwardly, trying to be normal, trying to be gentle and quiet so as not to infuriate Aoshi any further; althoug that was obviously not natural. "Uhhh, well it's nice you're awake, since we... we were going to be late... Uhm, why don't you wash up before we head to school eh?"
Aoshi stood up without replying and walked off into the bathroom. Akashi, overcome with relief at the sight of the white haired boy's disappearing figure, flung himself back on his bed and sighed louder than needed. He would have been smarter to remain sitting or have stood up, for it was too late to dodge the small jet of ice cold water whirling out of the bathroom straight into his face, partially drowning him, quite unpleasantly.
Shortly after Akashi's big-time choking fit (Aoshi having forcefully pushed the water into his lungs), the both of them were ready for school. Akashi hugged his jacket around him and peered through the gap in his balaclava. A lot of people asked him if he ever felt restricted with such little view of the world at a time, and how his pupils were not dilated although they were concealed in shadows most of the time, and how he could stand wearing it in the sweltering days of summer and sometimes spring.
When they arrived at school, there were students running in at top speed, much in contrast to Akashi and Aoshi who had been secretly, and very conveniently, flash stepping and surfing on random waves of water, to school. Aoshi took an immediate dislike to the first years who were pointing and giggling like complete idiots at the both of them, but Akashi waved back with an evident smile in his eyes, causing one of the girls to faint.
When they arrived in homeroom, they took their usual spots at the back, Akashi nearest to the window furthest from the back door, with Aoshi next to him. Even then, there were girls staring, boys glaring. Akashi greeted them all with his unmistakeable smile through the opening in his hood, while Aoshi simply brushed past the lot of them and sat down on his seat, closing his eyes and turning his music on to full blast.
Akashi soon returned to his seat beside Aoshi and the both of them sat in silence, as the case was most of the time. Although the both of them were best friends, they never really talked much. They often sat in silence, thinking of their own thoughts, and Akashi striking some pointless conversation every once in a while. Many found their silence puzzling, and always asked if they ever found it awkward. The answer, mainly for Akashi, was always no. In Aoshi's case it was phrased differently, kind of like, "As if I need to feel awkward. It's not like I'm obliged to talk to him or anything." Such was the case of their quiet, deep friendship of many years of hardship, sticking together to keep themselves alive.
Assembly, which was in the courtyard that day, was the usual. Just before the national anthem, Akashi would get a tap on the shoulder from his sensei, who would tell him to take off his jacket as a sign of 'respect' for the country. This was one of the only times when he would let his red hair fall freely around him, emerald eyes glittering found rarely glittering in the light; and much to his dislike, the cool breeze creeping over his exposed arms, neck and face.
At this point, girls started craning their necks to get a good look of him, the beautiful, perfect, handsome face that looked like it was carved by angels, made out to rival that of Aoshi's. Indeed, to Akashi and Aoshi owned their own fan clubs of girls, and hate cubs of guys of course. There was a very clear line drawn between both of them, a significant half of the school's population rooting for each of them. Their fan clubs were the larger than they had ever been, since they were the top dogs of the school. Although they were admired for their maturity and high status, it never failed to sadden their fans that they were leaving the following year.
The boys were constantly pinpointing the fact that they did odd-jobs for a living, and that Aoshi was the coldest, most uncaring person in the universe; the latter not as popular a rumour because anybody who said that had either mysteriously been downed in freezing water, or scorpion shaped wounds they were heavily punished for, having been mistaken as tattoos. There were nasty rumours about their childhoods, some saying they were disowned for unspeakable deeds (which Akashi had a laugh about for them being so thickheaded and stupid they could not think of any crimes), and others insisting that they were runaways who joined gangs and killed people and robbed and collected debts for a living, this being the reason why Akashi wore his balaclava-jacket: to hide his identity.
Aoshi however, remained unexplained.
So in this manner, they continued enduring the celebrity treatment, having intense revision for math as a start to the day, a horrible one in everybody's opinion.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
((THERE! :D how was it? how was it? was it too long? O___O lol. Can we have other characters that are not zodiac children? :D pleaseeeee. XD mehehehe. although I'm fine without any, I was hoping that they'd do fine with some friends, like, real friends, not fanclubs. XD I'm sorry if i'm placing my characters too highly. They'll be degraded once they meet the other zodiac children. XDDD))

Mine is unnecessarily long, I find. ._. But i'm trying to make up for my very very significantly shorter ones later on due to my deprivation of computer time. >_<
But i'll do what I have to, don't worry.
I realise that I'll just be mindlessly doing my own story, on my own. D: Well, unless Loki's Urei decides to show up in Okinawa. XD

Jack hopped in the car, his little sister, Kara, jumped with joy. They were going to visit their Grandmother down in New York City. His father hopped in the driver's seat and gave Jack a nudge. "Dad, Can't I drive?" he said in a whiny voice. "Son, you don' even have a learner's permit," "But Dad, Your a parent, all I need is adult supervision!" "Son.." "Fine," he laid his head back on the head rest and looked at his sister, who was reading the Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot. "Kara... how do you stand those books?" he asked in a grumpy voice. "Easy, I read them!" she snorted. "Bye!" "Bye, hog head" he brushed his curly brown hair and looked out the window. But then, the engine had started and they were off down the road. "Dad, do we have to stay at grandma's for a full month? Why can't mom pick me up early? You know how much I hate having to wash my hands and go to the bathroom outside!" Kara complained. "Kara, Grandma tries her best to keep everyone happy, so be happy," "Why can't grandma get a bathroom?" Kara asked in an annoyed tone. "Ever since Grandpa died, Kara, Grandma has been short on money, so give her a break" "Fine!" Kara said annoyed. ~~~~~~~ ((I'll skip to when they get out of the car to avoid having the write baout 2 hours of driving.))

Diana awoke and started groaning into her pillow. Her alarm clock was droning on and on, and no matter how many times she hit it, the bloody thing wouldn't stop. Eventually, her head still buried into her pillow, she picked it up and threw it- even if not with her hands- only to hear an almighty crash and sit bolt upright. Looking at her window, horror etched on her face, she gave a volley of curses. The alarm clock had smashed straight through her window, and standing up and walking over to it, she saw that it had smashed onto the flower beds in her postage stamp of a garden below. ''Great... Just great...'' She muttered to herself, pulling on a loose black shirt and slipping into a pair of baggy, blue denim jeans, before heading downstairs. Once in the kitchen, she pulled out her Latin textbook [omg Latiiiin] and began reading, making her breakfast at the same time. The cupboard door opened, a bowl flitted onto the sideboard, and the cereal and milk was poured in. All while she was stood up, unmoving, reading her textbook. Stepping lazily over to it, she manually got out a spoon, walked over to the table, and began eating. After she was finished, she shrugged her bag onto her back, slipped on a pair of combat boots, and headed out the door. Walking casually down the street, she ignored the glances she was getting from people who had heard some... recent rumours about her, and headed for school, her hair flowing out behind her, matching the ravens circling over head. Once she arrived at the school gates, she pushed through the crowds of teens hanging around, and headed straight for her locker, pulling out the books and slipping them into her bag. She'd be going home, and getting her suitcases, later that day. Heading to her first class of the day, Latin, she sat down at her desk and took out her textbook, before leaning forward and reading. Her hair fell slightly into her face, but she didn't bother to brush it out of the way. ~~~~~~ Jezebelle swung her leg over her motorbike, and revved the engine. For someone with such a feminine appearance, her bike was quite masculine, a bulky one with deep crimson and black vinyl. The body of it was elegant, somehow, even though it was quite large. Her long hair annoying her, she tied it up into a ponytail, her multi-coloured bangs still hanging down over her eyes, and sped off towards school. Her sleeves were billowing along behind her, and she was smiling into the fast-flowing wind. Finally coming to a stop outside the school gates, she parked her bike and cut the engine, before swinging her leg back off and heading towards her first class, [Trolololol. She shall have JAPANESE. 'Cos she's EPIC. XDDD] Japanese. She'd never learned it before, but had started it this year and was looking forward to it. Heading to her dorm, she dropped her stuff onto the bed, before picking up her backpack and heading for her locker, smiling as per usual. Getting out her books, she went to class, sat down on her desk, her back against the wall, and pulled out her textbook. So far, she'd learnt very few interesting words, and those she had done she was now muttering under her breath. ''Orokana bakana baka...'' She mumbled, her angelic smile still evident on her face. ''Furīku...'' Her voice, still soft and sweet, began to take on a slight edge. ''Ushinawa shutoku...'' All in all, she decided these words would be quite helpful if she ever did go to Japan. After all, based on her experiences, insults were the foundations of any language.

Adrienne was woken with a sharp pain in her head and the sound of a petulant shout right by her ear. Eyes shocked open she paused to glare at her younger brother Matthias, hissing with discomfort when he hit her again. This time the blow glanced off her cheek bone, pain surging down her face. Ignoring the twinges she grabbed his wrist and bent it back sharply, smirking.
"Stupid, don't you know already that if you hit me I hit back twice as hard?" The boy struggled for a moment, pinched face scowling and mouth opening to yell for their father. Oh no, that was not going to happen. With a furious glower she let go of Matthias' wrist and casually elbowed him in the stomach so he moved away. Crawling out of her bed she smacked him in the head for good measure before heading over to their shared dresser. As per their father's orders Adrienne was allowed one drawer for all of her clothing. Bending down she jerked open the warped wooden chest and grabbed her usual outfit. A glaring pair of red skinny jeans topped with a warm navy sweater. The weather outside the window promised rain soon.
Turning around she looked at her brother and jabbed a finger in his direction.
"Out." There was no need for more words. The thin thirteen-year-old scampered out with a loud insult and a rude gesture. She might pay for it later, but the retribution had been worth it. Snug in her clothes Adrienne rushed a brush through her short black hair then grabbed her tattered messenger back filled with schoolbooks. Noting that her Japanese homework was accounted for she headed out of the bedroom, making sure to lock it with a spare key she had stolen from Matthias. He still had no idea who had it, and it pissed him off greatly to find himself locked out whenever Adrienne was not there. However, just as Adrienne was done locking it up, there was a shout and she turned around to stare at Matthias.
"What now, brat?" she asked with a grimace.
"Stupid!" Puzzling out his reply Adrienne had not time to duck out of the way of an airborne book. The hardcover slammed into her side, the edge digging into an old scar. Yelping, she raised a hand too late to block it.
"Jesus! You stupid punk! You'll pay later." Smirking, despite the pain, Adrienne dangled the keys in front of Matthias before tucking them back in her pocket.
"And da's not going to pay for a new set, you know."
Slipping out of the door, knowing breakfast was not an option, Adrienne hopped onto her old bike and cycled out of the broken down driveway that led to the old apartment her family owned.
After fifteen minutes or so had passed Adrienne coasted into the school parking lot, awed as usual by the gorgeous scenery. Thank God she and Diana had been intelligent enough for scholarships, otherwise she would be stuck in the same crap-place of a public school she had gone to as a child.
--
Adrienne ran into the Japanese classroom, heading for her usual seat at the back. Slipping into the chair she grinned to herself and pulled out all of the necessary textbooks. Those, too, had been part of the scholarship.

Glancing down at her watch Beatrice was shocked to find that it was already 7:17. The time had passed quickly and Beatrice was pretty sure that finding the classroom would take some time. However, it had not been her fault that philosophy was tenfold more interesting than accounted for, and she was eternally grateful that a map came along with the schedule. Setting the book down she rifled through the papers in her hand frantically, searching for a classroom titled F1K21. There, only a few meters from the library, in fact. Tapping the spot with a finger, Beatrice grinned and folded the map up again. She tucked it into her pocket along with her schedule.
There were tapping noises nearby and she glanced upwards, lifting an eyebrow at the sight of a middle-aged man standing there.
"Excuse me, miss, but are you new to the school? I saw Mrs. Brown drop you off and thought to introduce myself."
"Oh, yes. I'm Beatrice; Beatrice Lee Monterastelli."
"I know your father! Excellent; welcome to Saint Matthews. I am Mr. Downing, librarian here. I noticed you were reading that book and I wondered if you would like to borrow it now? There is no time to make a card at the moment, but I can easily note it down for later."
"Would you? That'd be awesome," Beatrice said with a grin. Nodding affably Mr. Downing whipped out a pad of post-it notes and scribbled down her name and the book. Picking up the text she tucked it under her arm and thanked the man graciously before slipping out of the library. Glad she had some get-ahead reading for Latin Beatrice trotted down the hall until she reached the classroom. Pausing to first make sure it was, indeed, F1K21, Beatrice then slipped in and glanced around the room nervously. There were already a few students sitting in their desks and she had no desire to steal someone else's chair.

Urei slumped down in his seat as his eldest sister pulled the car into the student parking lot. His seat belt cut painfully into his neck, but he didn't care. The thought of going to this school, going anywhere outside his community horrified him. He rarely ever left its safety. He liked being Japanese, and he was proud to be one.
Still, his grandfather had insisted he go to this American school. His grandfather insisted he should try to find the other Western Zodiacs.
"The Western Zodiacs would not have embodied humans unless they had a reason to. Be alert and find the others. It could be a matter of life or death in the near future." His grandfather had said. He was wise, and the leader of their clan and community. Urei respected him greatly, and would never go against his wishes. Even so, Urei didn't like the idea of going to this school.
"Cheer up, little brother!" His sister said, her voice soft and fluent but still high-pitched as she spoke Japanese. Urei looked over at her.
Unlike most of his family, Haruka enjoyed America, and left the community often. She never did anything shameful, but she still had a habit of dressing more American than Japanese, and her clothes were rather... skimpy. Urei couldn't say he approved, but he could exactly say anything. Most of American clothing in his suitcase were hand-me-downs from Haruka that no longer fit after she... filled out.
Urei had a lot to thank her for. He should have come to the school the night before; it certainly would have been easier for him to sleep in the dorms that night, but Haruka had offered to get up at four that morning to take Urei on a three hour drive from the Community to school. She had known Urei wouldn't have been comfortable being exposed to everything new all at once, even if he would not admit it.
"... and I'm sure you'll make lots of new friends, too! Even some Japanese friends, possibly." Haruka said as she found a parking spot, concluding the speech that Urei hadn't really been listening too.
As she cut the engine to her blue Toyota, Urei unbuckled his seat belt and pushed open the car door, stepping out. Today, he wore his usual geta and socks and a simple sky-blue kimono with a darker blue obi, under which was a black t-shirt and blue jeans that has been cut off at the knee to make shorts. He usually didn't both with extra clothing under his kimono, but his sister had insisted he wear it just in case. Urei still wanted to know what the "just in case" had been about. She had never specified.
Haruka got out of the car and grabbed Urei's messenger bag from the back seat, walking around the car and holding it out for him. He took it and lifted it over his head to sling it around his shoulder. There was little in it. Only a few notebooks and pencils, a book, and the thin Japanese book that he needed for his first class. He'd only taken Japanese in hopes the teacher would be pleasant to be around. There was no reason to re-learn his first language.
While he was busying himself with the strap of his messenger bag, Haruka pushed his bangs away from his face to give his forehead a gentle kiss.
"Have a good day," she said gently. "I'll go drop your stuff off at your dorm room."
Urei nodded, looking a bit sad. He wrapped his arms around his older sister to give her a gentle hug before pulling away.
"Arigato," he said softly. He turned away to head to his Japanese class, already having memorized the map.
~~~
It didn't take very long for him to find his class. It was actually a short walk from the student parking lot. He slipped inside the classroom once he identified it was indeed where he was supposed to be. Before any of the students could get a good look at him, he moved to the back of the room and sat down in an empty seat next to a dark haired girl. The desks were separated, thankfully, so he wasn't right beside her. He pulled out the book he'd been reading, Hamlet, opened to the page he'd been on, and promptly began ignoring the world.
Jezebelle looked up, to see a guy walk in. He was dressed in what looked very much like Japanese clothes, complete with... What was it again? Oh, yeah, a kimono. She was pretty impressed. This guy really took learning Japanese seriously. Leaping up from where she was sat, she layed her open textbook face down on the desk, and walked up to where he was sat. ''Hi!'' She said, trying to be friendly. He even looked Japanese. Maybe he was, she thought with a grin. How cool was that? ''My name's Jezebelle, but you can call me Belle if you'd like.'' She said, smiling warmly at him still. The way he'd gone straight to the end of the classroom made it appear he was nervous or something, and the way he instantly took out a book implied he didn't really expect anyone to talk to him. Either that, or he didn't really want anyone to talk to him. As she thought that, she began berating herself mentally. Poor guy. He wanted some peace, and here she was, bounding up to him the minute he entered the classroom and bugging the hell out of him. He probably thought she was some moron, or something. Oh well. At least he didn't look like some obnoxious jerk, in the least.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually. ... ... Screw it. HYE. ♥
Jez is at it again, Adrienne thought with a mental sigh. The girl was outgoing, and friendly -Adrienne had to give her credit for that, but still. The kid beside her was practically burrowing into he ground below. Tilting her chair back and resting an arm behind her head Adrienne grinned and nodded knowingly.
"Don't scare her, Jezzie," she said. Shaking her head Adrienne turned to the new kid and noted his odd dress. Though Adrienne was never up to running up to someone and saying hello, it was likely she needed to save him from Jezebelle.
"Don't mind her," Adrienne murmured. Closing her eyes she let out a small sigh.
"Jez thinks everyone is her bestie. Uh...not that that's a bad thing," she hurried amended. "But...it can be overbearing...a bit." Laughing Adrienne crossed her arms and pushed her chair back flat on the ground.
"So you're a new girl here, huh?" she asked curiously. Leaning forwards she smiled at Jezebelle and patted her desk, offering the other student a spot on her desk. They were in partners of two each, with small spaces between pairs and large ones between every two, so there was nowhere for her to sit.
Adrienne toyed with her straight bangs, curling a lock around a finger. The class had another five minutes to start and their teacher was notorious for being exactly on time. As in, not too late, not too early. Sometimes it was nice, most of the time it was simply irritating.
As the sun slowly rose into the sky, Leon slowly opened his eyes and stretched, not very happy to be woken up this early. He was slumped against the wall of an empty alley between two apartments, with his old red bike a few feet away, and his book bag hanging on the handle bars. Slowly, he stood up and brushed himself off, and began walking down the alley way in a sluggish slump.
After walking for a few minutes, he came to a small brook hidden by a few trees. He was going to be going to school for the first time in a year, so he needed to look his best. He drowsily stripped off his clothes and waded into the water. The cold water woke him up immediately, and he began to wash up. This was the closest thing to a bath he could get in weeks. The money he had usually collected to rest his apartment space hid been going towards going back to finish his last year of high school, and he ended up not having enough to pay this month's rent after all was said and done. Instead of going into debt, he ignorantly decided that he could live on the alley next to the apartment for a month until he could move into a dorm at the school.
Leon crawled out of the water and slid back into his clothes, still wet, and energetically ran back to his alley. He looked down at the beat up old red bike, and smiled. This was his last day of poverty out here alone. He would have a nice, safe, warm place to live, friends, and most importantly, food!
He hopped onto his bike and petaled into town to buy some nicer clothes first, he very well couldn't go to school wearing a tattered t-shirt and jeans full of holes. He stopped at a pawn shop downtown and got off of his bike. Looking inside, he found a nice outfit hanging in the window: A nice white dress shirt with a black vest over top and black slacks to match. Leon dug into his pocket furiously, picking out the 20 dollars that was supposed to get him food for the next two weeks. He valiantly strode into the store, head held high, presenting his money to the register.
"I would like the outfit in the window along with a tie please!" he said, leaning on the counter and smiling triumphantly.
The boy at the register sighed and trudged over to the window, grabbing the outfit and presenting it to Leon. He took the cash and slowly slipped into into the register, while Leon, not even waiting that long, had already grabbed the outfit, and ran to the fitting rooms to change into it. The shirt and vest fit perfectly, but the pants were too small for him to fit into. He shrugged and left them there, donning his torn jeans once again.
He crept through the store a few minutes afterwards, "trying" some of the cologne on, and grabbed a red clip-on tie. He looked back at the register for a moment and ran out the door. He happily mounted his red bike and rode off to school.
Upon arriving at the school, he locked up his bike and proudly strutted into the building. He looked around, and saw the halls nearly empty as he headed to the front to enroll. He looked at a clock and it read 7:30. He stopped and wondered if he was late, but brushed off the thought. Wandering into the office, and went up and gave a big smile, not normal for him, but it was a special day for him.
"I would like to enroll. I have all my information as well as a check for the full school and boarding fees." he said loudly, reaching into his book bag energetically and plopping the papers and an envelope on the desk.
"Alright then. Come with me, and we'll get you checked out." she said, leading him to a room in the back of the office.
Leon almost was skipping as he followed her to the back room.
Leon headed down an empty hallway, his schedule in his hand and his book bag slung over his shoulder. He looked for his first classroom, Latin. After wandering the halls for ten minutes, he found the right class room.
"Room F1K21? Yep!" He said to himself with a nervous sigh. He spent a moment to brush himself off and straighten up and then opened the door to the classroom. With his head held high and his back straight as an arrow, he strutted into the classroom full of childish pride and happiness and took his seat.
So I am late... but what does it matter when you're as glorious as I am! He thought to himself after he took his seat and laid out his books.
((Finally finished with this! Is this a little too long? I got a little carried away I think... but he was a little longer jump from his current conditions to the school than my other character... Akello's will be coming soon, and will probably be shorter...))
Urei tensed slightly when he heard a "hi" directed at him. His crimson eyes widened slightly and he looked up at the girl that was now standing over him. He put his book down.
"Um, h-herro, Berre-san," he said quietly, looking a bit nervous. His voice had a very clear Japanese accent to it, preventing him from pronouncing Jezebelle's name properly. He hadn't been expecting someone to talk to him, especially not to go out of their way to do so. "I'm Kani Urei."
He turned his head slightly when he heard the girl he'd sat near speak up. He blinked and looked at her. So the two of them knew each other? Well, at least that meant if Jezebelle liked him, maybe the other girl would. He wasn't exactly in this to make enemies.
"So you're a new girl here, huh?" His face flushed a bit when the dark-haired girl called him a girl. He was too nervous to get angry, and he ended up just stammering out a soft "Y-yes." before looking away to hide his face. He wondered if his sister had left yet. Maybe if he left now, he could go hide in her trunk.
((Damn my inconsistency for Japanese accents.))
