BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Akello's alarm clock rang out loudly in his dorm, waking up a rather grumpy teenager. He got slowly out of his bed and walked over to the bathroom of his dorm and began to wash up. Looking in the mirror, he looked horrible right now, sleep deprived eyes from studying all night for a quiz in his Spanish class, tangled up black hair from tossing and turning and night, and... just great... he slept with his glasses on and the left lens was cracked...
After getting fully washed up, Akello walked over to his dresser and grabbed the clothes he planned to wear that day, a blue dress shirt with black jeans and his blue converse. He quickly pulled off his current clothes that he had slept in, and donned his clean clothing.
Heading over to the mirror again, he grabbed a comb and quickly brushed through his thick black hair and looked at himself again. Slightly better, but he was still extremely drowsy. Grabbing his black book bag and his cracked glasses, he headed out the door and straight to the soda machine.
Looking at the options he had, he put in a dollar and grabbed his cold cola. He walked over to the snack machine near by and also grabbed himself a pop tart to hold him over until lunch. Sitting down at a table nearby he quickly downed the cola and the pop tarts and began to review for his test. His watch read 6:45, so he had some time.
~x~
Half an hour later, he looked up at a clock and realized that his watch was 30 minutes slow, and that he was late for class! Grabbing his book bag and study materials in a hurry, he ran to the Spanish class room and rushed into the door, panting heavily from the long run from the dorms to the Spanish class room on the far side of the school.
All eyes on him, he turned red from embarrassment and took a seat in the back of the class. He received his quiz and began to fly through the questions with ease, until he got to the longer essay portion. The prompt was on the board at the front of the class, and his glasses were cracked in one lens, where as the other was badly scratched from wear and tear.
Without thinking he yelled out a certain profanity in frustration. Seeing all eyes on him again, he shied back and his his red face with his bag.
~~x~~ (( My computer hates Akello... The entire hour I spent typing Leon's into, my computer, on my lap, not plugged in, was 100% fine. When typing Akello's, I had to re-type it TWICE because my stupid computer first, wasn't responding and shut down Firefox, THEN after I wrote most of it a second time, over heated, while on my desk, plugged in, and THEN overloaded and shut down a third time, but I saved it on notepad before it shut down, and I just now finished it after Firefox wasn't responding again, ad I patiently waited for it to respond again... ;_;))

Jezebelle laughed at the way he spoke, but it wasn't a mean laugh. She just thought it was cute, the way this boy couldn't say 'l's properly. When Adrienne asked was the boy a new girl, she was about to correct her and say that he was a boy, when the kid said 'yes'. He looked like a boy to her, but, then again, she used to have a friend that everyone thought was a girl. She was good with faces. Laughing softly again, she smiled at the boy. Or, rather, girl. Man, this was confusing. ''No offence, but I thought you were a boy.'' She gave a slight giggle, before realizing she was probably being offensive, no matter what she said. ''I'm not scaring hi-her.'' Jezebelle replied. ''Oh yeah, and if you have difficulty pronouncing 'Belle', feel free to call me Jez.'' She smiled warmly once more at the other girl, before glancing up at the clock. A few minutes left. Oh well. She'd head back to her seat when the bell for class rang.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually. ... ... Screw it. HYE. ♥

((Such long posts... Mind if I make shorter posts? The girl is no character btw)) Piper hurried through the school to Latin, she noticed a girl sitting where she normally sat. It was also the front row seat to see the Latin teacher ((forgot her name if she had one)) sit down on the stride gum. "Excuse, me, random child who wondered into this world, thats my seat. You see, I need to see something very important and that seat, the one your butt is in, is mine, I claim it," she looked down at the girl. Then she crossed her arms and tapped her foot to the ground. Piper wore orange frizzy long hair, with a ragged blue bow. A green vest and a white tee under the vest. Her pants were black and skinny and looked too tight on her. Her fosters, Budd and Poe, had almost no money to keep up with the high school trends so Piper still had to squeeze into last year's jeans. The girl got up and looked at her. "Fine. Have it your way," she grumpily said to Piper and walked to another seat. Piper noticed Beatrice standing there like a lost lemming and said to her, "Piper's my name, what's yours? New Girl?"

Jack piled out of the car and rushed into the building to where is Grandmother sat on the couch. "Granny!" he cried. "It's so nice to see you! Dad wants me to go to school immediately so I can't spend much time with you!" Jack kissed her good-bye and walked outside to where is dad and Kara still stood. "So Dad, do I really have to go to school today?" he said glancing at the clock. The clock read 7:32. His dad nodded. Kara eyed her brother, then her dad. "Do I have to go?" she asked. The little girl was in 7th grade. "No, Kara Jack is in high school so he has to be there as quick as possible" Kara made a face at Jack. Jack crumpled his eye brows and bared his teeth. "I'll eat breakfast when I get there..." he mumbled grabbing his bag from the car and heading down the street. "Bye Jacky-baby!" his grandmother called from the window. ~~~~ Jack knew the neighborhood well/ He stayed her one or two months per half year. So he knew the high school pretty well too. Jack was entering 11th grade this year but lucky for him, he did not have to enroll again. His name was in the database already but he came and went as needed. Kara, on the other hand, Kara needed to register at her new middle school. The high school was just down the block. Jack entered the high school with such pride and went to the main office for his schedule. He was happy to find that his selected language, Latin, only for 11th graders, was 1st period. He strutted down the hall way and entered room F1K21 by mistake. "Ah! Latin!" he said to himself. He brushed his hair with his fingers and sat down at a desk. "Excuse me, are you in 11th grade? or 12th?" a girl asked him. "Eleventh, why?" he answered in a spooked and startled way. "He he," the girl giggled, "Your cute. This is 12th grade Latin," Jack looked at himself with a frown. He felt hurt in multiple way and trudged out of the class room with a frown on his white face. He was about to exit when all of a sudden all that he knew of the current world came to a crash. Boom! Bing! Bang! Jack's face rubbed against the ground and his ankle met Beatrice's. "Ow," he moaned as the whole Latin class laughed. He had tripped, on his first day back to school, oh great.

Urei looked rather flustered when Jezebelle said she'd mistaken him for a boy. "A-ah, wait," he said quickly, "I am a boy." He frowned slightly, looking upset. Damn it, he just wasn't good at any of this! Haruka was wrong, it was impossible for him to make new friends. Even if everyone was being nice to him, he still screwed things up.
Tears stinging at the corners of his eyes, he quickly stood up. "E-excuse me," he stammered before quickly leaving the room, leaving his bag and book where he'd set them down. He could feel some of the eyes of his classmates on him as he ran out, but he didn't care. He just wanted to leave.
The hallways had already cleared. Everyone was in their classes, and he knew he'd be counted tardy if he didn't return, but he didn't want to go back. He rounded a corner and leaned back against the wall, slumping down a few moments later and pulling his knees to his chest to hide his face in.
"I don't want to do this, grandfather," he said softly in Japanese. He hated it here. Already he'd made a fool of himself. "Usunoro Nishi Kodotai," he murmured. Dumb Western Zodiac.
((Poor Urei's having a bad day. xD *shot* He gets upset easy. :I And he's not used to other people cuz his clan kinda babies him. xD))

Ooc; I won't reply, but, full stop, Beatrice would not go for a guy like Jack. I hope I'm not being offensive, but I she'd be more annoyed than anything. :/ So I won't do anything to instigate a romance between the two.
ALSO. Could you wait until tomorrow so I could post? D: I want to reply to Loki and Ty, but it's bedtime. ;w;

Jezebelle frowned slightly as he said that he was actually a boy, but didn't have long to think on it as he abruptly ran out, with just a simple stammered 'Excuse me' flung over his shoulder. Ignoring the fact that class was due to start at any moment, she got up and ran out the door after him. ''Hey, wait!'' She called out, turning the corner and seeing him slumped up against the wall, his face hidden by his knees. She thought she'd seen tears in his eyes as he had run out, and was now pretty sure he was crying. ''You ok, Kani?'' She asked, sitting down next to him with her legs flat out in front of her, her head tilted slightly as she looked at him in concern. ''Sorry if I upset you.'' She added softly. What was wrong with him? Maybe he was homesick. Or maybe he was just offended he'd been called a girl and then told he was mistaken for a boy. Oh, she really was good at making people feel good about themselves, wasn't she? [[Trololol. Poor Urei. xD]]

((i wonder how long it'll take for Akashi and Aoshi to go to Italy, or for the lot of the zodiac kids to come pick them up. XD Maybe they should fly to Italy in this chapter. I don't know. Let's wait and see how this turns out. :D))
Akashi groaned quietly to himself at the prospect of missing lunch as the hands of the clock drew closer to one, but the teacher showed no evident trace of planning to finish. He shifted in his chair and peered at Aoshi who was continuously scribbling down notes while leaning back on his chair, not at all looking like he was having a problem with copying down everything like other 'normal people'. Akashi watched in amazement, again, at how Aoshi stared seemingly blankly at the screen ahead of them, while his right hand produced words that set themselves snugly in between the thin lines of the paper.
Up till now, Akashi still made out heads craning over others every other moment to get a good look at them. He had a strong urge to shake his head and how extreme they could get. It was even worse than being some popular jock in America.
Sometime about five minutes before their long-awaited break, a teacher Akashi barely knew as Occhi sensei beckoned him out of the hall filled with the entire cohort of third years. He got up with a grimace and the sound of the dragging chair that broke the silence that had been filled with nothing but pens scratching on paper and the occasional flipping of it.
More heads turned his way at this sudden life in the dead silent hall, with the exception of Aoshi, still copying. However, Akashi smirked under his balaclava at Aoshi's words starting to slant off their lines, showin gthat Aoshi had indeed been somewhat distracted. Feeling accomplished, he walked along the narrow aisle out to the back of the hall where Occhi sensei stood, tapping her foot somewhat impatiently.
When he reached Occhi sensei, she pushed up her spectacles.
"Akashi we have been informed by your relatives in America th-"
"I don't... exactly have any relatives in America, or any relatives for that matter," Akashi cut her short. "You've got the wrong person."
"Well apparently, it says here tha-"
"I already told you I have no such relatives." He shrugged.
"You don't know these people with the uncanny resemblance of surname, Tachibana, then? Tachibana Riuka and Tachibana Rishi. As you would realise, this surname isn't exactly the most common."
Akashi was shaken by their names. Riuka and Rishi. He gave no response, his eyes grown slightly wider in shock.
"Do you need more names? Tachibana Yukio, Tachibana Riruko, Tachibana Kara, Tachibana Testuo-"
"Stop." Akashi growled under his breath, a grave tone he rarely, if not never, took. "What do they want."
Occhi sensei looked down at her paper, although inside it was sort of more out of guilt. She knew very well the boy's quite horrible past, and she had not meant to rub in the fact that he had 'relatives' that had once tried to eat off his parents' inheritance, which, sadly, they had. He hated them to the core, for all she knew, and had never recognised them as family.
Pushing up her glasses once again and regaining her innner composure, she read outwhat was on the paper.
"Your family has requested that you fly to America and stay with them as soon as possible. They have booked a flight for you and, uhm, your friend, in case he wanted to come along, on this Saturday."
Akashi narrowed his eyes in annoyance at the word family, but the size of them was nothing compared to after he heard what he was told to do. In a matter of minutes, he recovered from the shock, though.
"I'm not going, and neither is Aoshi." He said flatly, before turning and walking into the hall, the sound of the ringing lunch bell escaping his ears.
((looks like they're on their way, somehow.))

Adrienne closed her eyes and grimaced. Her social abilities were not completely in disrepair, but to have mistaken him for a girl? Waving away the guilt she consoled herself with the fact that, indeed, Urei had a very effeminate appearance about him. It was an easy mistake. Brushing a hand through her short hair Adrienne messed with it for a moment, glancing upwards to look at the clock.
Ten minutes until showtime. So she had a moment to go apologize...or something. Adrienne frowned and pushed her chair back. The heels scraped on the floor and she jumped for a moment before slipping out of the classroom. Turning the corner she heard faint sniffles and the last echoes of Jezzie's question.
"You ok, Kani?"
Adrienne hesitated, unwilling to intrude, before her usually gruff attitude returned. Shrugging her shoulders she strode towards the two and frowned. The boy, Urei, was huddling into his knees, while Jezzie sat beside him with a worried look on her face.
"Hey, Urei -right? I'm sorry about the whole confusion thing...and, well, I hope you like it here at Saint Georges. Are you a boarder? You seem a bit out of place with that ritzy kimono."
Adrienne folded onto the floor gracefully and crossed her legs, sitting opposite of Urei. Though still doubtful she felt little unease in the boy's company, especially because Jezebelle was there as support.
"Well...if you need any support or whatever, me and Jezebelle are free for questions. So, you know, don't feel afraid to bother us or whatever. My temper isn't so short."
Adrienne coughed inwardly at the statement.
--
Beatrice was sure the last thing she expected was for some lost eleventh grader to trip over her. Despite her initial shock Beatrice's honed reflexes kicked in and she caught the boy by the arm. Holding him up with one arm she waved the other irritably, annoyance showing on her face. Usually she was not one to get worked up, but she had not even been standing by the door to begin with. Maybe a bit to the side, but Beatrice had been there to see the kid rush in, yell and then leave in a hurry. Or try to.
With little decorum Beatrice let the kid go and brushed off her shirt with a sigh. He was old enough to take care of his own hurts. Making sure that her prized possession was in good order Beatrice stared at the kid before groaning.
"Slow down and smell the roses, boy," she grumbled. Her already less-than-stellar morning was further dampened by this rude welcoming to Latin. And she had been expecting and hoping for this lesson ever since stepping into Mr. Downing's office.
Trying not to look haughty she stepped out of his way, flinging out an arm in mock salute.
"Whenever you're ready not to be a hall-hazard," she offered with a tiny grin. Perhaps she was slightly amused by the entire situation. The kid himself seemed absolutely mortified.
Turning around Beatrice dropped her arm and headed for the front of the class, spying a row of empty chairs there. Good, she could enjoy the class in relative peace. Placing her Latin book on the desk Beatrice slipped into the hard plastic chair and settled down for a wait. It was 7:20 and she had another ten minutes of awkward silence until the teacher arrived.

Jack got up and looked at Beatrice as she headed for her seat. His puzzled face showed lack of understanding why she had been, well, sort of rude to him. He took a breath and continued down the hall. Thoughts brewed inside his head. Who was she? Why was she rude? Oh I know, some lazy 11th grader totally tripped, made a fool of himself and messed up on the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! He punched himself in his mind and slowly advanced down the hallway toward the correct latin class. He would never make that mistake again. ~~~ ooc. TALK TO PIPER
