Oh, no, what I meant by that is that the character you create must gave been studying Pokémon for ten years, not you or anyone else non-fictional! So please feel free to create a character!

Hey, Dragonstar, long time no see! And on the subject of starting over or not, it's really up to you, I'd be happy to get staff's permission to unlock the thread, but if you want to make a new character for a new story, that'd be fun too.

Hmm... Well, maybe, for a one-time occasion, we can do both? I mean, my schedule is pretty free, and as long as you're willing to keep track of both of the stories alongside me, I think we'll be fine with that! Just say the word and I'll send the RMail to staff.

Name: Shinsa Samir Age: Twenty-one Gender: Female Region: Kanto Hometown: Pallet Town (born), Saffron City (currently)
Appearance: Shinsa has long black hair. However, the length ends just below the lower ridge of her shoulder blades. The cut of her hair makes the locks looks jagged and uneven, and looking like dragon spikes. Because of this, the texture of her hair is coarse and scale-like. She has central heterochromia in both her eyes. The outside of her irises are deep violet before fading into a ring of crimson that make her ovaled pupils stand out. She has natural creamy-bronze skin that darkens when she tans. She is covered with coiled, lean muscles; down her legs, her arms, back, and chest. Her fingernails, and toenails, are permanently lacquered black. She also has a thin line of metallic crimson "scales" (actually tattoos) running along her collarbone, making a rather wide V, over her shoulders to run across the tops of her shoulder blades before plunging into another V between them. She has another thin line of metallic crimson scales curling completely around her wrist in a small “bracelet” with an attached V on the tops of her hands, connecting the “bracelet” to the knuckle for her middle finger. Shinsa stands tall for a woman, standing at five foot eleven. Personality: As a general whole, Shinsa is a very calm person, if by “calm” one can take it she is extremely stoic since she doesn’t often show her emotions. All this was after her entire family was killed in front of her. When her family was alive, she was a little bit of a trickster herself. And some of that trickiness can still shine through on occasion, but it is very rare. She can also show a bit of her true personality, including a little smirk and a joke. Shinsa has a habit of calling anybody younger than her a “hatchling”.
As stated, Shinsa is a little bit of a trickster. She is also compassionate and has a mentor-thing going on. Shinsa likes to help the younger generations when she can. She can also be aggressive when she needs to, but usually maintains control over her emotions. Underneath her stoic façade, she has the awesome temper of a dragon. The “fire” inside her builds from a slow burn into a raging inferno and she turns into a figurative dragon. Her wrath is something to be feared and awe-inspiring.
History: Shinsa was born in Pallet Town to a branch of the Samir Clan, a Clan that specializes in Dragon and Fire-type Pokemon. Her parents taught her from an early age about Pokemon and enrolled her at the local Pokemon Academy at the age of five. It was only a year (just after her sixth birthday) after she started attending the Academy that her entire Clan was killed by simultaneous attacks by Team Rocket. Because she was at school when it happened, she came home to a bloodbath. A close family friend, one Nyxxus Havok, found the young Shinsa and spirited her away to a big city. There Shinsa spent six years out of the Pokemon Academy, in a funk, and in the Fightning Dojo learning how to fight. With her fists, instead of with Pokemon. When she was twelve, she re-enrolled into the Pokemon Academy. Shinsa spent most of her time split between both Pokemon Academy and Fightning Dojo, honing her knowledge and skills. Now she is graduating and ready to avenge her Clan.
Skills: She is very good with handling Dragon-type because of family, Shinsa also knows how to fight in close-combat since she also visited the Dojo whilst going to school. Flaws: Her obsession with Team Rocket.
Favorite Pokemon Type: Dragon, then Fire Least Favorite Pokemon Type: She doesn't have one.
Any Goals?: She wants to kill those who killed her Clan; Team Rocket. Also wants to get the legendary dragons.
Anything you want me to know?: If she starts acting non-human, let me know. She is currently set as a Naruto OC, as a Dragon (in my own Narutoverse).

Guess who's back, back again... Anya's back, tell a friend...
So, now that I have gotten the necessary song edit out of the way, yes, it's true, I'm back! Hopefully, I'll be able to give this project the focus it deserves once more. Seeing as it's a new year, however, I think that it's more than time to go over some things that may not have been clear in the past. So here's the things that new members are going to have to be aware of before they join. People who've already had their threads started can ignore this.
1. I AM NOT YET DOING ANYTHING THAT STARTS IN ALOLA. Why? Simple, really. It's because I am lazy, and I'm not yet sure how to process that into the first part of a series of adventures. However, that doesn't mean you'll NEVER see Alola...
2. There is now a code word that must be said in it's own portion of the bio if you want to join. The code word is first detailed in the rules as the world unbolded, like this: Year. You must then find said word in the post directly after, and state it in your bio. Why? Because I want to make sure everyone knows what's going here! After all, we DID have some problems with sorting out character ages during the last streak.
3. I dunno, I was thinking of something, then it left my head. Apologies.
So, now that we've gone over that, please join! I'm a-waiting!

Coming back, I said. Staying back, I said...
Well, not focusing on my own lack of commitment, I am indeed back, and I figure I might as well list the changes I've decided to make.
1. NO CODE WORDS! In the end it was kinda pointless to have such a thing, seeing as I'd need to change the code word every so often, and more posts equal more publicity, even if it is a rule-dispute string of pointlessness.
2. JUST READ THE FREAKING RULES.
