What is your favourite part about Avatar the Last Airbender?: Everything? It's one of the few shows that has EVERYTHING in it.
What's your favourite episode(s): Zuko Alone was one of my favorites, but I don't remember the rest by name. I'm also a huge Zutara fan, so anything involving the two (like the Southern Raiders and Crossroads of Destiny) are loved.
Who is your favourite character(s): Katara, Zuko, the rest of the Gaang... Iroh, Azula and her (former) cronies... xDDD
How far are you in Avatar? (Example: Episode 15, Book Two, Done): Been done with it, been watching it over and over on Nicktoons due to their one month dedicated to Avatar. Season One is being shown this week without commercials... yay!

Oh all the people I know of that has seen the new movie so far have all said it was the worse movie ever....but I think that you all should get your own oppionons! So if anyone saw it and thinks otherwise tell me about it because from what I hear I kinda not sure if I want to see it |

Kohawko; Well, I just stumbled across it a few weeks back. It was in the video's deion and I was like, 'Oh, maybe that actually works. :o' It does.
The movie isn't out here yet. :( HOWEVER. I know what to expect. The trailer makes it look bad, and there are 12 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. (All rotten.)
But I'm still going to see it. I really have no choice; It's Avatar. xD Oh well, if anything I hope I can get a good kick out of it.
I just hope they didn't cut out too many comedical scenes for the sake of making it more epic. :c

It was generally disappointing... The light-hearted nature of the show is sort of lost, and it's pretty rushed (though I guess that's difficult to avoid in shrinking a 400 minute adventure into a fourth of its size). The sc
ript is weak, but the fight scenes and visuals were pretty cool. Personally I found the movie to be pretty lame for the most part, although my friend who hadn't watched the series (or even knew it existed lol) said it was amazing. |

I know people who have never seen the show before and still say the movie was awful. But, I haven't seen it yet, so I can't really voice my opinion just yet. I'm going to laugh when Zhao kills the moon spirit though. Zhao- Click here."But amid all the wank and lame, it's important to to remember to stop and appreciate the nuggets of awesome you find: like ZHAO PUNCHING A FISH TO DEATH (tho they may add the CG fire later). Now, I don't know about you, but if movie!Zhao straight-up, no bending, flat-out MANPUNCHES a fish in the face? IN THE FACE?! To death?! That movie is GOOOOOLD!"

My other obsessive friend was REALLY disappointed. He told me all about it, which further strengthens my will to NOT go. I've been boycotting the thing since I learned of the casting... But to hear all of the other stuff makes me sick. Ruined the franchise... and don't they have to make two more? >>;

Yea, the movie was like...Not too good but I still liked it. I thought they cut out a lot and exspecially the Kioshi Warriors.>8( I still liked it though...The bending was cool at least.Lol. |

-sighs- Oh well, I guess there's only so much they could have done to squeeze such a long show (albeit the first third of it) into a typical-length movie.
But, seriously.
What are they going to do in the next two books? The Kyoshi Warriors get more important. o__e

I think I'll go see it no matter how bad it is supposed to be. If I don't, it will bother me for the rest of my life. ;___;

Yeh. I saw some 'omg secret stuff' thing on TV, and apparently the guy started getting too into the Kyoshi Warriors since they're his favorite.. and then he went the stupid route and cut them out completely. x3 I saw the movie yesterday, and I thought it was decent. Almost qualifies as a So Bad It's Good for me. xD They tried way too hard to be epic, and they definitely lost almost all of the lighthearted spirit we saw in the show (Aang smiled.. maybe once during the whole movie?).. but in the end, that gave it a lot of unintended comical moments. Kinda redeemed it for me - simply for the lulz. I can't help but think it could have been better if they'd tried using a little more time though. I know some people cringe at the thought of sitting down for super-long movies like LotR and kitty!Avatar, but it does seem like things could have been a lot less rushed if they'd extended the runtime. I also kinda gained some respect for certain left-out characters, thanks to the movie. I never realised how much I liked some of them until I realised they might not be there. Especially Koh. Before, I'd really never thought much of him - but then when they first showed Roku's Dragon, I couldn't help but grin to myself. I'd thought it was Koh. But sadly, no. x3 They used his little set of analogies for the fish at one point, but Koh himself never showed up.
Also. Pretty much the whole time, I was just waiting for Zhao to manpunch Tui. Thaanks, Dust. xD /ramble

Yea...I missed Koh too. He is my favorite spirit world character...I thought Princess Yue did pretty good though. Oh and Appa looked AWESOME!!!>D |

Yah, Yue was good. Her story seemed kinda shoved onto us (I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten it if I didn't already know it), but she prob'ly showed the most character of anyone there. P:

Well. Keep your chin up about it, and you should at least get some laughs. xD Especially after they got into the Northern Water Tribe's city. There were lots of hilarious over-the-top moments there. P: Hurrrrr. I got the name Bato yesterday. |D I'm kinda surprised it was still open - I'd noticed the Creatu in the graveyard at like, the beginning of last month before forgetting about it. So it's been available for at least a couple weeks. Poor Bato. He must feel so unloved. 'Omg I lost my packkkk. 8(' he says. Now I kinda wanna draw a Sirleon all bandaged up, trying to eat whale-nad soup sea prunes and failing horribly. Just for the sake of fun-poking. :D Every character must go through itttt. And bah. After I watched Avatar: The Abridged Series, it always takes me five minutes to remember that they're called sea prunes. Not the other thing. xD |

Heck yes, it is. xD The first episode's a little less than on par with most of the others, although it's still got its moments, but the show kinda gets more and more funny as you go. 'S amazering. c: Sadly, there are only about ten episodes. /crai |
