I normally don't have very many dark colored pets, but I wanna get  some. ^^

I've found that not many look good when completely dark, they usually look better if it's a mix of light and dark

for example

but if you want an all dark one I just hatched this pretty little girl that I'd give you a discount on

They're both absolutely gorgeous ;o;

I really like the top one with some color. How do you recommend making babies like that?

It reminds me of the Trance effect. ^^;

If you'd like, I could try to breed a clone of her? I've had some babies in the past that looked pretty similar

Iridescent and Shimmer genes will give you a multi-color fade effect like that. Some of them can make your dragon look rainbow, like this

I eventually want to get a rainbow dragon! I will try to figure out how to do the dark and light effect. I'm really bummed cause I just sold my all black Imp. :C but I have that pearlcatcher that could help?

The pearlcatcher is ready to breed, and I'll have a nest open tomorrow. I already have a dragon that will produce hatchlings that are pretty close in color so I don't need to borrow any! Although if you'd prefer they had blue eyes instead of red, I could let you borrow them and hatch them in your nest

And if you want a lighter colored rainbow dragon, try getting an iridescent maize primary. Put this number (14258487) into the predict morphology section of the scrying workshop, then change from hatchling to dragon (since he's not fully grown yet, but should be tomorrow) if you want to see what it would look like

I like the color combination on that one Captain!

I forgot to mention, not all iridescent and shimmer colors look multicolored, it sometimes gives the dragon a glossy effect, which can also be beautiful
