All kinds of horror! Video games, movies, TV shows, animes/cartoons, websites... Anything that horrifies you, really. xD Some people love and indulge in it; others shy away and cry from it. Personally, I hate it in movies, but I tolerate it in video games, animes, and TV shows. Go ahead and post whatever relates to horror! Give examples of anything that gives you goosebumps (Silent Hill, the Grudge, vampires, Slender Man, etc).

Yay, another horror lover. <3 As far as anime horror goes, I can only think of Van Helsing, High School of the Dead, and D Gray-Man (although it's not really that scary, more like gothic). o3o Silent Hill creeps me out a bit, but other video games are fine for me. :D I can't stand horror movies for some reason. It's more like I can't control what's going to happen, so something bad always happen. xD; In video games, it's different sometimes and you get used to it. xD

Anime horror? Try Higurashi Naku.. ahm. Snap. I can't remember the name 'cause it's Japanese. xD brb Google. Higurashi no Naku Koro, that's it. Very horror-y. Involves.. basically every kind of death you could think of. P: Especially for the main character. He gets killed multiple, multiple times. I'm lazy when it comes to watching things and have only seen up to the fifteenth episode though. So, sorry if there's something extremely horrible after that that I don't know to warn you about, hah. I guess I haven't seen many horror movies, since I completely refused to even look at 'em from the time I saw the Ring when I was nine.. until just last year. Basically the only one I've seen since then is Paranormal Activity. And the only part that really got me in that was the sudden butt flying at the camera at the end. xD Horror video games.. ahm. I watched my brother-in-law play Dead Space. That was pretty scary, since it was before I suddenly decided horror wasn't so bad. x3 Now I can watch people play it and be like 'lol that poor thing's so ugly. :D' And a certain part in Half-Life 2. I could never bring myself to play it myself, because I could never get past friggin' Ravenholm. 'Cause it was a zombie-infested death town that you HAD to play through at night. Where your best weapons were those that made things as nightmarish and absolutely bloody as possible. Random saw blades? Wonderful! Let's fling 'em at the zombies to chop 'em in half. Ohyah, and Doom 3. I'll.. I'll just leave this here for you.

Oh my goodness, totally forgot all about that anime. xD I've watched like the first two seasons but then I gave up because I felt sort of uneasy watching it. ;u; I'm not sure what episode I was on. It was just ending on Rena's story. You should watch Paranormal Entity. The ending to that really got me. ;o; Dead Space was more scarier than the second Dead Space. Only because you're alone by yourself in the first one. Plus the whole entire scenario was completely new.

... I think I kind of ruined Paranormal Entity for myself by looking it up on IMDB. The reviews tell. Everything. That happens. xD Not sure I wanna even put in the effort of watching it now, hah. It seems like it being a first-person camera thing might still make it slightly scarier than Activity, but still. It won't work very well since I know what's gonna happen. x3
Yah, I thought the first was better, with Isaac being alone. I kind of hate it when sequels suddenly involve a bunch of other people, really. Even in non-horror things. Characters being alone makes things much more.. personal. Of course new characters being introduced in a series will happen naturally, but it sure doesn't work when it feels like a ton of 'em are just thrown on you without warning. Like the people ran out of ideas for what they had, so they just made the story's universe bigger to accommodate. Like with Paranormal Activity 2. That was a very, very obvious example of growing universe syndrome. Left it far less scary than the first, and a lot of moments felt forced. Sad thing is that they didn't even give most of those new characters much of a story. Like that Spanish lady. She could have been so cool, but she just served as a source for telling stories and throwing around suspicions.

Yeah, it's much better being alone in the game, adds to the horror effect since being alone is always scary. That's very true. I didn't give that much thought into Paranormal Activity 2. Just sort of accepted it. xD Found a site, sort of like fml and mlia. o3o http://mylifeiscreepy.com/

Horror makes my eyes sparkle with joy, especially things that are filled to the brim with gore. I don't watch much anime simply for the fact that I think it is (don't shoot me, just voicing my opinion, darlings) overrated and to be honest, some of the graphics and cliche plots annoy me to know end. - I have seen multiple death scenes from Higurashi though and I read one of the mangas since my friend told me look at it. (the panel with the guy clawing out his throat was just gorgeous) Survival horror games are amazing, especially Silent Hill and Amnesia. Movies are okay, though I highly prefer the old ones to the new ones. (for the same reason with anime - most are overrated and run on dull, overused plots or subjects) However, there are a few new-age horror movies that I absolutely adore (Saw for one <3 ). Oh god, Yoshi. I had Nyan Cat already opened in another tab so it played in the background to the blood-tunnel loop. I just laughed so hard....

... I just realised. I knew I was ranting a little when I made that last post, but man. That's bad. xD I musta been grumpy or something.
Geez. I feel like a sap for getting uncomfortable at some of those My Life Is Creepy things. They're like, those kinda corny ones you hear all the time.
I think I'll just blame Portal. I played it today for the first time since like, 2008, and just. Snap. I never realised before how downright creepy it is. It's all just surreal music alongside these little cues to tell you something isn't right under the place's (mostly) clean exterior, but it's so.. unsettling. I guess that probably doesn't count as outright horror though, so. x3 Onward.
Nyeh. I don't think I could ever watch Saw. Even with my newfound courage toward horror stuff. It's just too.. torturous, I guess? Normally gore's fine, but I'm not good with the thought of pain. x3 Or like. Really gross things. I got stomachaches for a week after seeing the trailer for the Human Centipede. Just. Every time I'd think of it, bam. Stomachache. lolol at the Nyan Cat.

I love horror movies with good plots. :D But what really pisses me off is movies like Saw. >.> All it is is blood and gore. Don't get me wrong, you can't have a good horror movie without blood, but really? Its just so stupid. Mabye its because torture freaks me out. You never know. xD and survival horror games. Oh my gawd. I would love to play one. has anyone seen the movie Survive? I don't know what its real ti tle is, but its amazing. -join-

Yeah, I love Saw too, watch marathons of them every so often although its more gore then horror due to the fact that there isen't really anything scary about it. And I just watched Scream 4.....not good, the original was the best in my opinion, it was just a better story, and the plot was something I enjoyed. Horror movie's are my favourite :D

I'm an avid Saw fan. It actually does have a plot but it's, let's say, very very complex. It is somewhat like The Butterfly Effect with a steriod kick of mutilation and gore. The little tapes John made for his victims were also very interesting to me and Billy is just adorable. <3 Hrmn, I think I'm going to google and get some information on Survive now, you have piqued my interest. My sister made me watch The Human Centipede with her - all I can say is that man needs help, asap. Oh and on the subject of horror, has anyone ever heard of Impressions? It's a Japanese horror movie that's only availble via download site/foreign movie site. It never aired in theaters due to some content being extremely disturbing. If you're into gore and trauma, watch it, it's pretty brutal.
