Personally i thought Taylor Lauhtner did a good job portraying (long word o.0) in the movie but Robert Pattinson ruined Edward and didn't get the feeling in the books when Edward dumped her, which was really annoying to do in the first place. He wanted to "protect" her. Like that was ever going to happen anymore than if he was there in the first place
