I played Paper Mario for the GameCube YEARS ago. o3o It was fun. Sadly, I was only renting. :c A few days ago I did download Project64 (N64 Emulator) and the original Paper Mario game. Played it for about 3 hours straight. xD Although I'm stuck because of the stupid blasted controls. I can't use that Blue Koopa's field move.

... Baby Yoshi, dude. Baby Yoshi. ♥ I can't remember much of the rest of this stuff though, hah. I've only ever played the Thousand Year Door, and I haven't even done that in like. Years. o_o

Oh man. I fired up my Thousand Year Door earlier, and just. Woah. I was so lost. o_o I was all standin' under a question block in front of the Door, and I couldn't remember an ounce of what I was supposed to be doing. Just that the last time I played, I was putting it off by repeatedly going as far down in the Pit of 100 Trials as I could. xD I guess maybe I was supposed to be battling through the world behind the Door? That's all I can think of, since I have it open but I'm pretty sure I haven't beaten the game. I think. I donno. I vaguely remember battling some kind of boss in there, an evil lady, but I'm not sure if I beat her.

Doopliss. :I I just love him. I've been living on Paper Mario TTYD lately, as well as Luigi's mansion. XD I just. Love Gamecube games for some reason. :I Also. Goombella = hatred. I don't like her at all for some reason. She just bothers me. >:C Right now, because I re-started, I'm at the part on the train. 8D Where you battle the monster that steals the passengers. Working towards the sixth star. Side note - I love my baby yoshi. I just wish he wasn't pink.

I'd love to restart mine, but. I just don't have that much time to devote anymore. :C It took me months just to beat a thirty-hour game a little while back - there's no way I can do 100+. I.. I don't recall how I felt about Goombella. xD I guess I just liked her for her enemy notes. I love things like that. Kinda like getting all the figurines in Zelda: Wind Waker, or catching all the Pokemon. Also, lol I recently started playing a bit of Luigi's Mansion too. It was.. a lot weirder than I remember. xD A lot of the ghosts are just. So absurd. Makes me sad that they lost that in the new one.

I played the game. On my nintendo 64. But you guys seem to be talking about the sequal so. :I THE NINTENDO 64 ONE WAS BETTER. ;O But the Thousand year door one was good too. Loved the island part. (Forgot what it's called. :c) Mostly because the vole whacker thingy was there. You know, the blue guy that pops out of theground, you hit him and get a bump that restores your HP? LOVE THAT GUY. Free Hp items? Awesome. Voles? Okay. HP GIVING VOLES? = Looove. :3 But before we had a chance to finish the game my little sister deleted all of the memory on the memory card and lost the disk. When it was found it was scratched up and wouldn't work. >_<

I only remember like, one scene from the first Paper Mario. A kid brought it in one day back in daycare. xD He was on this part where Mario's imprisoned with a bunch of Bob-ombs, and the pink one gets them all free by blowing up the wall and joins Mario's party. ... 'Kay, so I went ahead and restarted my Thousand-Year Door too. It seems like I never really realised how great a game it is, hah. x3 I love how so much of it echoes and references all the traditional Mario stuff, but it's still different. And the music is so insanely layered and upbeat. And the humor, oh man. xD All these creeps hitting on Goombella.. the Blooper complaining about how much of a jerk I was for walking up and smacking his tootsies..

Which Paper Mario is this? It sounds like you're not talking about the same thing I am. D8 Well, I had the one for the Nintendo 64. Still got the blasted system too, in perfect working condition. :D I used to play it all the time when I was younger (using my brother's better account) and I actually miss the game. ;c We lost the...gamepack (?) at one point and I spent hours searching. ;w;

//only one who likes goombella?
LOL. My favorite characters are Doopliss, Dimentio and Count Bleck though {thousand year door and super paper, respectively}. Doopliss is just funny, Dimentio's hardcore and Count Bleck is pretty much my favorite Mario villain of all time. And him and Tippi made me cry at the end.
My favorite parts of TYD are Glitzville, the Steeple, and the Train. For Super Paper, I... I don't really like any of the levels in particular. I'm more fond of the story. Both games are amazing, I've beaten TYD about five times and Super Paper twice, though I saved at the end on one file and keep beating the end over and over and trying to build a tolerance to the sad yet good ending.
'nuff said. 8|

Okay I have to bump this just to say.
LOLOLOLOL Frankly right after the Boggly Woods chapter.
'And assuming will just make an.. well, you know the saying.'
It's just. So great. xD
Also, that Flurrie squashes enemies with her.. *cough* stage presence.
On another note, I actually find myself liking Goombella the most so far. Of course, if I remember right I'll be getting the aldfjaljsowonderful baby Yoshi next, but Goombella's my favorite companion for now. Her dialogue is so much more entertaining than Koops and Flurrie's. x3

'Kay so I just finished the Twilight Town chapter, and. Ohman. Now I see why you guys are so obsessed with Doopliss. xD His battle theme is just. So amazing. And the whole literal identity theft thing was pretty deep, man.
Just makes me kinda sad that chapter was so short and involved so few puzzles. Could have been pretty much the awesomest part of the game, but it just didn't have much to it. :C Not like Glitzville did. It took ages to get through Glitzville and all its secrets, and I loved it to bits for that.
Though LOL the whole 'end of chapter' thing the first time you beat Doopliss really had me confused. I was seriously sitting there telling my TV, no man. What the heck. That CAN'T be it. o_o
Then I remembered.
*editplz*
Ohyah, and something I noticed.
Creepy Steeple. Crystal Star.
Yay for starting with the same couple of letters. |D
And Doopliss kept confusing me at first by calling me Slick. 'Cause like.. that's what I named my Yoshi. And I had my Yoshi out. And it was like, what. x3

I got SO mad when I learned I couldn't get thhe name 'Doopliss" here xD
But anyways.:I I just pressed Ctrl Z and accidentally deleted half of my post.
Yuk yuk yuk yuk yuk.

Doop was always one of my most fond characters from awhile back ;U;
I miss the guy. Dimmy's been taking up all the space in my mind xD
DIMENTIO. GO ON A DIET, 'K?8|
lol.:I
Anyhow, I drew this picture of my version of a creepy and demented Dimmy after the game xD It turned out good.:I Then I gave it to my dad and he hung it up at his work.:I
LOLOLOL.C:
So.
...What PAIRINGS do y'all like?OuO
*Dimentio/L fan*
...I also thought up of something but I'm too lazy to draw it.:I
Doopliss and Lee. Lee from the one from Nintendo 64. eUe
He was so adorable omg.
I would repeatedly talk to him JUST to see him talk.;O; Duplighosts are just. SO ADORABLE.
...Yeah.:I I stopped playing the Nintendo 64 one after I got to the Dry Dry Desert xD Anyways, the emulator I got got very glitchy in a part of Toad Town :C So glitchy that I called it "Glitchville".
LOL. GEDDIT.
Glitzville, Glitchville?*eyebrow wiggle* xD

I'm not sure I like any pairings, really. xD I don't think of that kind of thing most of the time unless it's made pretty obvious in canon. And.. well. So far there haven't been any canon relationships in the Thousand Year Door except like, Toadsworth and Zess T., and Koops and his dad and Koopie Koo, and Bobbery and Scarlett.
... Actually. I do rather like Bobbery and Scarlett, even if you never meet Scarlett. I seriously got a little teary when he was reading the letter. xD
Also. On an unrelated note.. I suck. I really, really suck.
I read that going down to the fiftieth floor of the Pit of 100 Trials gets you a bigger inventory. So I went in with the intention of getting there - fiftieth floor, here we come.
I spent an hour or two and got down to the fortieth floor. On the forty-first there was a skippy guy. One of the Punies with glasses. So I skipped ahead five floors, and there's another one. I'm all happy and stuff - I figure I just got the last ten floors I needed in no time at all.
That is, until I realised I'd skipped to the fifty-FIRST floor.
All that time. To friggin' miss the floor I wanted. Now I have to go through and do it all over again. >:c
