Ok, I searched for 3 hours to find a Iluvu egg and when i got one, I waited for it to hatch. when it was ready, I tried hatched it but it said that there was a error and it did not hatch my creatu, and it also took my egg away AND cost me one of my hatches! Please help me I am so sad!

When you hatch eggs there is a chance that they can fail, when this happens
you'll get a message saying something along the lines of:

"The egg you was trying to hatch failed" 

(in all honesty I cant remember the message of the top of my head D:)

this will take your egg and one of your hatches.


There is also a rather horrible known glitch that will take a hatch/ egg. From what I understand, this hatch happens when you accidentally refresh while hatching. 
This has happened to me before with a credit shop egg and I was unable to get it refunded.

 If you're sure that your egg didnt fail you can always send in a support ticket.
