I've joined today but I cannot do anything on this site. I've explored and picked up a few eggs, yet everytime I go to Hatchery it says: Your username cannot be changed. This is annoying.
I can't even create my character-are you meant to wait several days before you can do anything, or am I missing out on something here?
Also how can I close the enlarge chat-I click close but nothing happens.
Pretty stuck at the moment, can somebody please help me??
Also how come other new users have managed to dress their character/doll up and I can't even get to any shops-what is going on here? The below is what I get

Hmm this is very odd, especially the bit about the username. It may be some kind of glitch. I'll this thread on and someone can look into it for you. You should also be able to make a human avatar right away.
If you click "Close" on the Shout box it should take you to another page.
It should have taken you to a page with the heading "Layout settings", from there you would have had to select "No" from the drop down menu next to "View chatroom"
You can also get to this page by going: Preferences (under log out button) > layout options. Maybe you could turn it off by getting to the page this way :o
I just joined and im having the same prblem with the avatar and username thing. If its because of the hyphen in the username, can I get the hyphen removed?
