Hello there!
I'm Sourwolf, and completely new to the site. I haven't been on pet sites for a while but this one caught my interest and I'm all excited about it :)
Looking forward to getting started and meeting new people!

I have however a question. What are the pro's and con's of the two classes? I tried the search but it didn't shed more results.
I've always enjoyed restocking on sites like these, so I figured merchant, but it seems they loose out quite a bit when it comes to breeding.
I'm honestly confused what I should go for and I don't want to choose the wrong class and have it impact my stay here negatively :( If anyone could help me educate myself further that'd be extremely appreciated!

Hey, welcome to rescreatu :3

As for the two classes,

merchants-  only get 1 hatch per day and have a lower chance of hatching a rare colour, the pros however are that you get a percent off in merchant shops and can have your own merchant shop.

Ranchers- ranchers get  3 hatches per day and have a 10% greater chance of hatching good colours. The cons are that you dont get anything off merchant shops and you can only sell items through threads. Although you do get to have a ranchershop ^^

Hi Canada!
Yes, I've read all that on the page where you choose the class, however it's so vague. I love restocking, yet I also love pets, thus, my dilemma.
Do restockers make a lot of TU here? Or are Ranchers the ones racking in the money?
What class is the majority of the players?

It really depends, with the kir quest and some seasonal events that require pets ranchers can make alot of tu. but it also veriys with merchants on the quests and events that are going on you can make millions.  It isnt a simple question xD but in the end, i woyld have to say merchants.

For the majority i would ask a staff member ;)
All in all, if you want to change your class at any time you can switch a total of 4 times

I'm probably too late with this but here's my opinion on the matter.

Most of the users are ranchers but that doesn't necessarily mean that that is the way to go, on the contrary because you are just starting out I'd recommend being a merchant, only because it's an easier way to make fast tu. Being a rancher you may hatch something better but even if you were to sell the outcomes it's not as steady an income as a merchant. Perhaps later down the track when you've made a bit of tu and have become accustomed to the site and found other ways to make tu like playing games/stock market you can always switch over and try out being a rancher ;)
Hope this was useful.

Hi Sourwolf! Welcome to Rescreatu!

These guys have given you some good information to think about. But the most im[injection]portant thing to remember is that your choice isn't permanent. If you choose one and realize you don't like it or would rather be the other, you can always change (albeit only 4 times). So I would certainly encourage you to try them both out and see which you think suits your playing style better.

Personally, I like being a merchant because you get the best of both worlds -- restocking and hatching. Sure, you get fewer hatches a day, but that doesn't really matter to someone like me who really only hatches pets they're likely to keep.

If you have any other questions or need help with anything else, I would be happy to assist you. Hope you're enjoying Res so far! :)
