First you need to get some food. You can visit the apple tree in the games section once a day with each pet. Also, pizzas from antonios pizza are usually cheap and fill up your pets fast. After you've purchased some food go to inventory and then quick stock. From there move the food items to your food pen by clucking under the food pen section.
