This is a thread that can answer most of your questions, and that can help you to meet other newbies like yourself. :) Everyone is welcome, we're always glad to have new players. Also, you can apply for a "Newbie Pack", a little something to help you get started here. Frequently asked questions are below, feel free to ask anything that isn't already answered for you.

FAQ
Here are the most frequently asked questions by those new to Rescreatu. I'll add to this as we go.
Q: What is the goal of Rescreatu?
A: The goal of Rescreatu is to hatch pets (of many different varieties and rarities), to earn TU, and to make friends. There are also things such as quests, collections, avatars, and pet pages to help add things to do. Some users collect things such as squishies and names, what you choose to do is up to you!
Q: What is TU?
A: TU is the currency of Rescreatu.
Q: How do I make friends?
A: Well, most people make friends by talking to other users through the chat box, or as we like to call it, the Shout box (SB). Just remember to be nice, you're sure to meet plenty of new people. To add a friend to your friends list, visit the "Respals" tab at the bottom, left-hand corner of your page. There are other ways as well, including creating a thread here in the "Introduction" category of the forums, but the shout box is the most commonly used system.
Q: How do I obtain my first pet?
A: There are several ways to obtain your first pet, the easiest being to find an egg and hatch it. By clicking on the "Explore" tab at the top of the page, you can visit one of four planets. On each of these planets, you can stumble upon different kinds of eggs and pick them up. The egg will then be sent to your "Hatchery", the icon of the orange egg at the top, left-hand side of your page. Then you go to your hatchery and click "Incubate" underneath the egg. After a certain amount of time, varying from egg to egg, the percentage bar will reach 100%. Then the egg should read "READY". This is when you should hatch the egg. In most cases, the egg will hatch into whatever species the egg is. Sometimes, it will be hatched as a color, sometimes as a mutant (this is only the case in some eggs, as not all are able to hatch mutants yet), and in some cases the hatch will fail. If your hatch fails, that means the creatu died before it was hatched, and you will not get a creatu. However, if this happens, you can always repeat the process with another egg. Depending on your class, either Rancher or Merchant, you will have either 3, or 1 hatch each day.
Another way to obtain your first creatu is to buy it from another user. Often times, you will barter for a certain amount of TU, and then the both of you will decide whether or not to trade. Keep in mind that some pets are worth millions of TU, so your first offer may not be accepted. It just depends on the seller, and what creatu you are trying to buy.
Q: Is there somewhere I can look to see what my eggs will hatch into?
A: Yes, there is. Just visit the "Pet Species" page under the "Information" tab, and it will show you all the pets on Rescreatu, and even where to find them. The pets listed under "Other" are called CS pets, and to obtain these you must first purchase Credits.
Q: What are Credits?
A: Credits are the currency that can be bought with real-life money. You can buy these either through the Credit Shop, or off another user for a large sum of TU. Some of the pets here are retired, and are not available in the Credit Shop anymore. The only way to get one of these creatu is through another user. To visit the Credit Shop, click tle="" href="http://www.rescreatu.com/cshop/">here, or find the link that says "Credits" just under where you see "Shop", Remember that all purchases help to support the site.
Q: Are colored pets worth more than typical creatu?
A: Yes, most colored pets are more valuable than normal, or "natural" creatu. The order of most valuable (the least valuable to the most valuable) is: Natural, Sepia, Cream, Black, Ginger, Silver, Blonde, Calico, Albino, and Achromatic. Of course, a valuable color on a valuable pet means that it is worth even more.
Q; What are mutants?
A: Mutants are variations of creatu, which are in some ways deformed. They are more valuable than normal creatu, in most cases, and can only be hatched in natural.
Q: Do I have to feed my pets?
A: Yes, your pets do require to be fed, or after a while they can die. To feed your creatu, click "Select Pet" underneath the image of your creatu, then click on the icon that looks like an item chest. This will take you to your inventory. Here, you can click on a food item, then click "Use item". Your pet will then be fed the item.
Q: Where can I buy food and other items?
A: Well, to buy most food and other items, you'll want to visit the "Shop" page, found at the far left of your screen. From there, you can visit NPC (Non-person controlled) shops and purchase food, clothes, and other items.
Q: I've been hearing something about a Bank. What is it, and how can I set up my own bank account?
A: You can set up your bank account by visiting tle="" href="http://www.rescreatu.com/reiflem/bank/">here. This will take you to the Reiflem bank, where you can store, withdraw, receive from others, and send TU to another user. You can also find this page by clicking the side-link that reads "TU".
Q: Is there a way for me to earn free TU, like games?
A; Yes, to earn free TU, you can visit and play all the games under the "Games" tab. For most, you can play these once a day.
Q: How do I get help beyond this thread?
A: First off, feel free to send me an rmail, I'll be happy to help you in any way I can. Other than that, the best way to get help is to send in a Support Ticket. Support tickets are located under the "Rmail" tab, and are messages to the staff. The staff are there to answer any of your questions.

Alright, now that you know a little more about Rescreatu, it's time to go out there and have some fun.
