I agree with Iceheart - the old Spyro games for PS1. Those were beautiful games. Too bad Activision is making a (seemingly) terrible game that'll probably ruin the series forever.

Anyhow, I have one game. My favourite game ever (so far). It's for the DS. And it's called,

GHOST TRICK: PHANTOM DETECTIVE

Ohmygosh it's beautiful, too. I cried at the ending! It's sad. It's from Capcom, yeah. There are animals in it, a dumb Pomeranian that I personally hate but everyone loves called Missile.

BUT ohmygosh it's a wonderful game, with 18 chapters of awesoooooooooomeness. It's a puzzle...ish game. Anyways, here is the Wikipedia link for the game:

Yesh.  They have ruined Spyro.  The New Beginning was OK, but the PS1 games were pure WIN.  The newest, Dawn of the Dragon, though.. I have to say... It SUCKS.  Just in my opinion.  You can't turn the camera anymore, and Cynder's the biggest bother.  Especially since you guys are tied together. >.>  My family, the ones who have played Spyro at least, all agree that they have ruined the fantastic gameplay they had going on the PS1. >:c

Jak and Daxterrr.  I've played that one recently again, started up a new game.  Gosh, I am really better at this game than a few years ago xD

The first three Spyro games are the only ones for PS1, correct?  I have them. :3

Dark Cloud is the first and the original.  My cousin used to have it, but he sold it. xP  But I own Dark Cloud 2.  The second's the only one I ever played myself, but I do [VERY vaguely] remember watching my cousin play the first.  Hee hee, the same person game me Spyro 1. <3

I'm not really an anime person. I do watch a little bit, but I don't treat them any different from normal cartoons. What I'd recommend would by Arakawa under the bridge. It's really funny, but also quite artistic and poetic. Pretty strange combination, but it works xD

I also suggest  you watch Summer Wars, it's not a tv series, it's a movie. But it's very good. It's by the same guy who made the digimon movies. It's fairly obvious he made it, his style is very evident. It's a bit more grown up compared to digimon. It's also got a lot of eyecandy that's inspired from Takashi Murakami (which is an awesome pop aritst). 

A good (sort of) game would be Fragile Dreams (on the wii). It's really a crappily made game with really basic gameplay, but the story is so good. It's a pretty short game, I finished it in less than 10 hours.  But it's beautiful nonetheless and I don't have any regret for playing it.

For animes,

HELLSING. Watch it. So good ;o;

Blood Plus, it's also good but not as entertaining as Hellsing.

Zombie Loan, really good, but be warned, several yuri scenes. o-_-o''

If you want animal related animes, they'res always the two Ginga series. (Ginga nagareboshi Gin and Ginga densetsu Weed)

Final Fantasy X (The only final fantasy game I ever enjoyed)

Final Fantasy X2 (Not as good as the prequel, but still pretty decent)

Just wanted to add onto the post above mine by saying.. watch the OVA version of Hellsing first if you don't wanna be confused as all getout. xD It totally is an awesome series, but the official anime just doesn't explain much as it goes along. So it's pretty easy to get lost in it. The OVA does a lot better at elaborating.
