I don't care about Twilight. There are probably other people here who share the same lack of interest. In the spirit of the club's intentions, let's talk about something unrelated to Twilight. How do you feel about socialism?

:D I have no idea what that means. The dictionary is no help, but socialism sounds serious.

I, too, enjoyed Twilight. But it's ridiculous how some people obsess over it. As for socialism, 1ran. Socialism is a poltical system where the people control the means of production and distribution of goods. They are also operated according to equity or fairness, rather than market principles. ^_^;

I'm In the midst of things here, Just like everyone else I'm guessing.
You can't help liking what you like.And not all people like the same things.
That's what makes you,you and me, me. Differences.
Some people do go a tad far though in there likings of certain objects.
But,that's them,not me.

Heh. Well, Gothic, you're right. We're all different; unique. But in all of us being unique, does that not make us all, in a way, the same?

That's true, as well. But it is something, isn't it? For people like me, that's how we see things. No matter how different we are, we are still the same... It frightens and depresses us; makes it seem like, no matter what, everything we do will be copied or mimicked, or perhaps even produced identically by someone, somewhere. Originality is what we thrive on and such thoughts make it hard for us to function properly. But still, what is there for it? Humans are foolish social creatures with social needs; it is inevitable that we all would share some things and have similar thoughts.

Why should it frighten and depress us? If you do something unique and others copy then why should it matter? Walk to your own beat and don't give a darn about what people do. While being ignorant is not very healthy neither is thinking too much about things ;o We have social needs. Yes. So does everything else with life. we can't ignore them 'cause it'll hurt and we can't get rid of them because it'll be a lonely place :3 And while we all become down and while we all want to lock ourselves away from the rest of the world. In the end, loneliness is one thing that is quite frightening. Ah now I'm starting to ramble nonsense again xD

It's not nonsense Raru. =3 But I was just talking about people like me in particular. We want to be unique and we want to march to our own beat, but how can we do that if others do the same? We are easily hurt and chased away from the things we want, but are quick in taking something else up and start manipulating to make it fit to what we want; to make it be what we want so that it's a reflection of what we feel and think and see. Then we get frustrated when someone does something the same thing or decides to tell us not to do it anymore because it's "rude and disruptive." It's a flaw and something I despise about myself...It makes me weak and easily depresses me, but I dare not change it.

Like I said, we just have to learn to sort of null that feeling and don't react a lot to it. Not saying it's an easy thing to do. I mean, I sort of get peed-off when I see people not taking things seriously or not being sensitive to people's feelings to a point that it leaves me feeling foul and bad-tempered. But someone told me that we cannot do anything about it, for as much as we like people to not act like that, we can't do anything about it but stop caring about these people following us. Although, if it's distruptive we have to respect what they think and do whatever it is we do somewhere else.It might mak you frustrated but they probably share the same sentiments. If people copy us we have to learn to ignore it and stop caring then will the frustration, depression and whatnot will become easier to bear. But again, like you said flaws are hard to change. Until this day I still fight against these things that makes me weak and depressed and it's...er, getting better xD Ah but this is my thought on things :3 So long a you're smiling and sticking lil '=3' in your messages, there's no need to change.
