My dog never bites unless we combe her fur, and then it hurts her. Even then, she just nibbles at your hand.

Wow... kinda of a bloodeh storeh... oh well. I know my feelings got hurt one time when i was younger and my dog kinda gnawed at my hand. it hurt, but there was no blood involved.
