5. Please do not post negative statements such as "everyone ignores me!"
 or "no one here cares about me." The chatroom can become a busy place
where users become involved in their own conversations among each other.
 No one is intentionally ignoring you. Instead of engaging in negative
attention-seeking behavior, just join in the conversation instead and
you will begin to be responded to.

Also, not everyone is extremely active in the forums either. The SB is the best place to find just a random conversation. Like the quote from the Rules above, no one's ignoring you, they're just usually caught up in their own conversations.
