They were pretty popular around the time they were released, but I don't hear much about them nowadays so I guess they count as "unheard of". Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie were great games. I shamelessly bought an Xbox 360 just to play the new game.

Since Okami and Dark Cloud are already on your list, I'll place another of my gems.

Why do I love this game?

The main character is voiced by the same guy who voices Zim from Invader Zim.
Your a Psychic ten year old acrobat, who's run away from the circus, snuck into a psychic summer camp, and only have a whole day to reach your goal of becoming a government agent before your dad shows up to take you home.
There's an tiny army man trying to take over the world.
A dentist with a pepper grinder for a hand, and wearing a shower cap is harvesting psychic brains.
In order to gain five of your Psychic abilities you must go into people's minds.
In order to proceed you must go into four mental cases minds and work out there mental problems. (Example; One guy is being haunted/has a split personality of Napoleon Bonaparte, he's also a decedent of the man.)
There are a whole bunch of scenes and quotes in this game that it'll take you hours upon hours to find ALL of them! (Seriously, every time I play this game, I find something new that I had missed on the last run though.) Some of these quotes you actually have to cheat to get. Other quotes you actually have to sit and listen to them ramble before you get. (Thankfully there aren't too many characters who you have to do this with.)


And there are many more reasons that I can't think of right now. XD

The game's slightly dark, overly hilarious, and a great game. The only downside that I can think of is that the characters all look....freakishly weird.
