ok, so one of my pets died. i completed the resurrection quest and got the potion but what now? i go to my inventory and try to use to potion but it says "Error. you must select a pet before using an item" how am i meant to select the pet if it's dead. please help

You have to select another pet of yours - a living one. Items don't work without a selected pet. P:
