Yea you heard me. Why? Because: 1. It's sent everyone in a frenzy. 2. It's kinda making me worried, and I hate that feeling. 3. I was supposed to have a party tomorrow, but no, that's not happening. 4. The party was reschedualed to today, but nobody can come because of the stupid hurricane. Thoughts? Why do you hate it?

Well. I hate it too because i'm in NC and I was going to go to a movie tonight. "Don't be afraid of the dark" but my father is all "Rawr! I want you to reschedual! Don't go!" and its freaking him out a lot and I dont like seeing him like that. I'm going anyway though but he's all worried and my mom is comming up from SC so driving is going to suck. Everyone around here is freaking out and i'm just all ">.<"

Right? And, best part, my neighborhood in NJ is prone to flooding. Great! I'm double Zip-Locking my cash and important docs.

I love Hurricane Irene!
Why? Because: 1.) The place that I was vacationing at had to be completely evacuated. And, I hated that vacation so leaving four days before we were supposed to was very good news. *Flees*
Back from hiatus. Open to more roleplays!

yeah, I hate it because my mom always freaks out over stuff like this. That June 1st tornado didn't help things. I don't think we're in too much danger up here, but we are supposed to get a lot of rain. Like 10 inches. maybe some wind, too, I guess... I'm mostly worried about our chickens. We have some 3-week-old bantams outside. ._.

nah, we just have backyard chickens. and only a few, except they went and hatched a bunch of little ones this summer. x_x They're cute but I doubt we'll be able to keep all of them. :(

I'm annoyed with the storm because I was supposed to go to Thalia's party ;C And also because my area is EXTREMELY prone to flooding, so much so that sometimes we're likely to be trapped in our neighborhood. We're smack in between two dips in the land. I'm kinda excited, though. I love storms :3

Pros: -Storms make me go RIGHT to sleep -I like watching lightning -Thunder is a nice sound Cons: -KILLED my party -Is making me be trapped with my family. T.T -My window could shatter :L -A tree could fall onto my roof and that would be badddd -My area might be flooded -All the Nervous Nellies out there are saying "OMG OMG WE COULD ALL DIE" and if I die, then I can't go to Hershey Park, I can't have my birthday, AND I would be dead. >.<

I'm on the other side! xD The west side of Canada, so it's not affecting me whatsoever. But it might hit the eastern part of canada, like Quebec. Apparently it's going to hit New York really bad. o-o It be fun to watch a lighting and thunder shower in a power outage, because where I live, hasn't happened for two years, and when it did I was sitting outside when hail the size of gumballs came down. :s Hope you guys are safe. c:

All transportation in New York, Boston, and Philidelphia have been halted. No airlines or subways or whatever are up and running, from what I've heard. Pros for us - We just got back from Maine, were there was a HUGE sale on everything - my dad called it the "Hurricane-deal". - School gets to start later. (thank GOD, I haven't finished my summer work yet D;) - tomorrow shall be an enormous pajama-day for the West Coast - since its sunday, duh, and none of us are gonna want to leave our house for fear of being clonked on the head by a floating lawn chair or something. - Storms are nice. (-fail-) Cons - My sister is one of those people who worry about everything. - Traffic EVERYWHERE - People are, like, dieing. x.x (so far, I think the number's at eight.) - The power will probably go out, and I'll be stuck with - God forbid - my family.

From what it seems like, the worst is pretty much over for NJ. We're still gonna have rain and 80mph winds, but it'll be over soon, thank god.

It just hit us - right now, it's raining cats and dogs and all the trees are swaying like drunken old men. :/ Gosh, I can't even go outside. So far we still have power though, which is awesome.

Heh, we're only gonna get the edges of the storm, since it's passing through Western Mass, last I heard. I'm near Boston. So far, we're still alive! But the power blinked out for a second and will probably dissapear in a few hours anyway. Homygod, if I look out to the street, it looks like there's mini-waves blowng across the roads. It looks funny. x3
